You can’t label an entire city racist so obviously Cape Town is not racist. But there are undoubtedly racist people of all levels still in Cape Town and everywhere in South Africa and the world.

If you’re a POC or friends with POC, we all have some if not many experiences of subtle and not so subtle racism. I’m a very light skinned coloured person and even I’ve been called the K word. I went to Rondebosch Boys High School and the things we said to each other were horrendous. We’d have black and coloured vs white soccer matches at breaks.

Racism is alive and well in every part of South Africa. That is a fact. The level and prevalence of that racism is what is often hotly debated.

I was about to comment. I’m 5’4’’ at 65kg and he looks taller and heavier than me.

What are you talking about? Any middle class and above person can tip extremely generously without affecting their standard of living at all. I’m not from the US so the tipping culture isn’t so hectic but anyone who has a comfortable job can tip average and above and not even have to think about it. I’m in my late 20s and I tip and pay people who work for me better than most of the top earners in my county. You really think a couple of 100 dollars a month in tips is gonna put a dent in someone’s pocket who’d drop 1000s of dollars on fancy meals, alcohol and whatever other luxuries a month.

I don't know why you're getting downvoted. To me it's like referring to yourself as doctor when you have no medical degree or PhD or wearing a military uniform when you've never served in the military. These tattoos in Māori culture or a native American headdress are things that are earned. It's not a fashion statement or just because they look cool.

At the end of the day, OP is entitled to put whatever they want on their body. But getting these sorts of things purely for aesthetic reasons just doesn't sit right with me.

You need AT LEAST an 85%+ average to get into medicine, not to mention to pass. You need 50% to pass like all other degrees and the workload is way more than most other degrees. South African doctors are some of the most widely sort after in the world because of the burden of disease and trauma we have to deal with. There are many bad doctors and the state of the public healthcare system is shocking but you are greatly exaggerating. Source - I am a doctor and actually know what the fuck I'm talking about. Guarantee you're exaggerating or outright lying. Which healthcare facility are you referring to?

This has got to be up there with top 3 dumbest stoner myths. What’s the logic?

We can go back and forth about fat and health but fat and beauty are not mutually exclusive. To be so close minded that you couldn’t even imagine someone being attracted to a fat person is some ignorant shit.

People need knives for all sorts of normal household tasks. There are very few people who need a semi automatic for any other reason than they want it and “dUh tHe 2nD aMendMenT”.

Not sure if being down voted because people don't get it or old copy pasta.

I see a couple of people asking about what dosage you’d need to take to experience these visuals so I thought I’d put my two cents in.

I’ve taken pretty much every dose (in 100ug increments) from the 100ug to 1000ug range and I’d reckon to get visuals that intense and vivid you’d at least need to take +600ug. If you’re smoking weed during your trip you could probably get them at a slightly lower dosage. That’s just my personal experience and people are going to have varied experiences but I feel 600ug is a fair ballpark.

Edit: I am basing my comment on the how vivid the picture is and how saturated the colors are. You can definitely achieve similar visuals on slightly lower doses.

Edit 2: For quality reference, I've only ever tripped with Voidrealms.

Edit 3: Thinking about it more and looking at other people's comments, 600ug is probably too high. I'd probably say 400ug would be a better estimate but I don't think much less than that. As I mentioned before, I was basing my estimation on the picture and more specifically the forest scene which was pretty distorted and you could barely distinguish individual trees. If you focused your vision, you could probably achieve those visuals on a 400ug(ish) dose. I just don't feel that the level of distortion in the forest scene is easily achievable when you're looking around normally and not specifically focusing on a point to intensify the visuals.
