Because over here I've been seeing a progressively worse business environment for small companies (mom&pop stuff) because most regulations nowadays favor large (and huge) corporations and instead local and state regulations keep tightening the screws on smaller companies that don't have armies of lawyers to fend off (or eternally postpone) regulator's interference.

The fact that hosting Vaultwarden is just so absolutely simple and flawless and grants all features and capabilities makes me nervous; are the Windows app and/or the browser extensions open-sourced? If not, are there open-source alternative clients/extensions available?

Because, Bitwarden (the company) having accepted VC, it's inevitable that the screws will slowly turn in a single direction: extraction, and eventually that will hit the protocol, it will get changed in an attempt to lock out everyone using Vaultwarden, for "security" reasons.

Whenever I read or hear comments like "...gets a failing grade..." or "...has a very low opinion about..." in regards to the current regime I imagine that's how they also think when they're being violently mugged on the street, I guess they yell back "YOU'RE FAILING!!".
