1903 was a different time, when that word was still a slur but society thought slurs were awesome.

Mother 2 & 3: The Slot Machine Brothers. Pincho, Pancho, and Tomas Jefferson.

Probably the best book on her out there.

How come the AI can handle the word torta, but it said mija in the gringoest way?

His ass is a fearsome critter of the lumberwoods.

I appreciate you continuing to bait everyone. It’s annoying, but it’s kinda funny.

I’m not going to open the can of worms on whether or not Latinos are white, but why are we calling Emporio a man? He’s like 12.
ravendarkwind
I’m hoping that I don’t make ignorant comparisons, and if I do, I’ll do my best to fix that about myself.
Also, congrats on your huge dangalang, and thanks for saving all those kittens from a fire. If you hadn’t driven past in your impressive sports car, we would’ve been in real trouble.

I already had this conversation with the other lady with facial hair, I’m not rehashing the points.

Yeast is usually a negative symbol in the New Testament, but there’s also a parable comparing the Kingdom of Heaven to yeast working its way through bread to make it rise.

You’re arguing with things I didn’t say. Like I said before, this isn’t an argument about real-life women with facial hair. I don’t even think every depiction of a trans woman with facial hair is negative. If it’s a self-portrait, for example, I’d be a dick for saying that it’s wrong to portray that.
What I’m arguing here is that when one of the big things that trans women have dysphoria about is stuff like facial hair or height, and the way that they’re depicted accentuates those features, it can come across as malicious, even when the artist isn’t trying to be at all. Obviously women come in a variety of shapes and sizes, nobody’s saying they don’t. Did I make myself sufficiently clear?
ravendarkwind
It’s a feature that a lot of my trans women friends are dysphoric about, so putting a five o’clock shadow on a woman to signal that she’s trans (when she already has a trans balloon and a woman shirt) feels malicious. You’re also conflating real people who have a modicum of control over how they present with fictional representations. If a trans woman wants to flout gender conventions because she thinks it’s freeing, that’s her prerogative. But why is it so popular to portray trans women that way when so many trans women find it unflattering?
ravendarkwind
Yeah, it blends in from a distance, so it kinda jumpscared me when I zoomed in.
ravendarkwind
If someone were to paint a Jim Crow-era racial stereotype and they were to defend it by saying that some people really do have those features, you’d recognize that they were being disingenuous, right?
ravendarkwind
Elaborate

They put stubble on the trans woman.

Love me chicken tenderqueer, love me chicken true.

Yo, Les Kassos mention?

“What do you mean I’m not a chef? I give my order to the waiter and the food I want comes out of the kitchen!”
ravendarkwind
Exactly, I think it’s a cute comic and all, and the art stuff can just be explained by Shen’s art being a little inconsistent, but fictional representation doesn’t exist in a vacuum. GNC people are real, but it would be dishonest to say that people don’t use the concept of being GNC as a way to bully trans people into staying in the closet.

She’s not a pear, so she teared.

You said AI wrote the Python code, but the way this promotion for it was phrased makes me think that’s not all you used AI for.

Every now and then I think of that TikTok that went around saying that Leviticus 18:22 was about pedophilia by looking at the wording in Luther’s Bible (not the Hebrew, strangely enough), and then saying that the Catholics changed it in the 1950s to get people off their backs. All that conspiratorial nonsense just to avoid confronting that the Bible says shitty stuff about gay people.
