Video games have been more resistant to inflation than anything I can think of. In the 80s I paid $5 for a meal, $3 for a movie ticket, and $60 for a newly released, top-tier game. Today I pay $30 for a meal, $20 for a movie ticket and ... $60 for a new top-tier game.

The Christmas episode was also very dark. Bojack tries to trick Sara Lyn into thinking it's her fault that her parents don't come back to life, then essentially tells he he's glad her parents died.

Very long and complicated story short: Austria was going to invade Serbia, which would lead to Russia declaring war on Austria, which would lead to Germany declaring war on Russia, which would lead to France declaring war on Germany

In the real world, they're all dead or in jail within two years. In the world of the show, they all die at the age of 110 on huge piles of gold, because they're the Byrds, and no one can see through their patent horseshit.

This is the answer. When someone says "generic dad band" they aren't thinking of quirky virtuosos like Steely Dan or era-defining geniuses like Pink Floyd. They are thinking of "Hot Blooded'.

If there was no tax and the company raised the price then consumers would have the option to buy from another company that didn't raise the price. With a tax all companies would be pressured to raise the price in order to cover costs and still make a profit.

I'm drawing a blank on Jez having a stepsister. Was this the girl who raped Mark?
This is who I was looking for. An immigrant to an insular country where she initially doesn't speak the language, and a woman in a massively misogynistic time and place, yet she somehow manuevers to kill her husband the king and rule for decades in her own name.
