here a second try I ran this through an AI asking to analyze it ... Mostly in English:
Overall, this reference would generally be interpreted as a "Good" (Grade 2) German employment reference, with some phrases ranging between Grade 2+ and Grade 3. It is clearly positive, but it does not use the strongest language typically associated with a "Very Good" (Grade 1) reference.
Strong Positive Indicators
Learning Ability and Adaptability
and
These statements indicate that the employee learns quickly and applies new knowledge effectively. This is generally considered a good to very good assessment.
Initiative and Self-Development
The wording suggests a high level of personal initiative and continuous learning, which is typically viewed as Grade 1-2.
Resilience and Commitment
and
These are strong positive statements and are typically interpreted as Grade 1-2.
Reliability
This is a classic positive reference phrase and generally corresponds to Grade 2.
Conduct and Character
This is a very strong behavioral assessment. It indicates excellent relations with colleagues and the employer and would typically be interpreted as Grade 1-2.
Areas That Prevent a Grade 1 Rating
1. The Phrase "stets zufriedenstellenden Auffassungsgabe"
In German reference language, the word "zufriedenstellend" is notably weaker than phrases such as:
- "gute Auffassungsgabe"
- "sehr gute Auffassungsgabe"
- "außerordentlich schnelle Auffassungsgabe"
The term "zufriedenstellend" is often associated with a Grade 3 level.
2. Performance Summary
This sounds positive, but it falls short of the strongest formulations.
For comparison:
| Reference Phrase | Typical Grade |
|---|---|
| "stets zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit" | 1 |
| "stets zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit" | 2 |
| "zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit" | 3 |
Instead, the reference uses:
This is generally interpreted as Grade 2.
3. Task Execution
While positive, this is not among the strongest possible formulations and is normally read as Grade 2-3 rather than Grade 1.
Final Paragraph Analysis
The closing statement is positive:
and
The employer explicitly thanks the employee and wishes future success, which is a positive signal.
However, the wording references:
rather than:
or
Therefore, the closing also supports a Grade 2 interpretation rather than a Grade 1.
Overall Assessment
| Category | Approximate Grade |
|---|---|
| Learning & Adaptability | 2 |
| Initiative & Self-Development | 1-2 |
| Resilience | 1-2 |
| Reliability | 2 |
| Understanding / Comprehension | 3 |
| Work Quality | 2 |
| Conduct & Loyalty | 1-2 |
| Closing Statement | 2 |
Final Verdict: Grade 2 (Good)
For a student employee ("studentische Aushilfe"), this is a solid and favorable reference that should support future applications well. However, because it lacks hallmark Grade 1 formulations such as "stets zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit" and contains weaker wording like "stets zufriedenstellenden Auffassungsgabe", it would generally not be interpreted as an outstanding or top-tier German employment reference.

I parsed it with the help of AI. Here is the result:
3. Leistungszusammenfassung
Hier findet sich:
Das ist eher eine Note 2-3.
Die klassische Zeugnisformel für eine Eins fehlt:
Stattdessen steht:
Das wird üblicherweise als Note 2 interpretiert.
| Formulierung | Übliche Bewertung |
|---|---|
| stets zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit | 1 |
| stets zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit | 2 |
| zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit | 3 |
Schlussformel
Auch hier steht "gute Leistung", nicht:
oder
Daher ebenfalls eher Note 2.
Gesamtbewertung
| Bereich | Note |
|---|---|
| Fachliche Einarbeitung | 2 |
| Belastbarkeit | 1-2 |
| Engagement | 1-2 |
| Auffassungsgabe | 3 |
| Arbeitsqualität | 2 |
| Sozialverhalten | 1-2 |
| Schlussformel | 2 |
Gesamtnote: 2 (gut)

Chilled water is used to cool a data center by absorbing heat from computing equipment. It has been estimated that, for each kilowatt hour of energy a data center consumes, it would need two liters of water for cooling, says Bashir.
This number is only true if the water would be used for evaporative cooling. This is not done anymore. Modern DC are all using a closed cooling loop. This is fairly new though and any pre 2024DC will most likely use the water cooling that way. New ones will all use a closed cooling loop (No water wasted)
But putting these numbers up against other huge water consumers will make them seem much less scary.
For example if we compare ALL of Microsofts Datacenters (Worldwide), we come out to around 100.000.000.000 L of water per year
Compare that to the 16.000 Golf courses in the US, each consuming about 100.000.000 L -300.000.000L per year per course, means that golf has used roughly
2.000.000.000.000 l-5.000.000.000.000 l or around 20-50 times as much water as AI does....

well,
I would claim that the brain uses around 2000Kcal in 24H (Normal diet) - So that is 96W. The brain wont run without all the other stuff yet.
The claim in AI Power usage is just stupid.
A single query against a GTP5 model will use around 1-10J.
Training the model is MUCH more expensive though (MWh is the scale used here). But once a model is trained, it can be used to answer millions of queries.
