I know how it worked… point is the default state of the laptop is sleeping now, people don’t worry about battery drain in sleep mode anymore and even if it is off it boots up insanely fast. Knowing if the laptop is asleep or not just isn’t as important as it used to be so a sleep light really doesn’t convey helpful information to the user anymore.

As much as I loved that light, I do think it’s become a big superfluous since 99% of the time my laptop is asleep and not shut down sort of like my phone.

Lawrence of Arabia was Super Panavision 70, not 3 strip Technicolor.

I mean computers last a decently long time these days, so comparing it to a 6 year old machine doesn’t seem too ridiculous. My and my SO’s Intel machines lasted 10 years for example. I’m sure Apple knows how many of those are still being actively used and are targeting those users.

Yes, he was Reform Party.

2 hour podcast is a short explanation? It’d be quicker to just read whatever law you think is preventing 3rd party candidates, despite us having had a 3rd party governor in MN.

I live there and I have watched 2 different vehicles sit in metered spots with flat tires for over 4-8 weeks this year. So it seemed to me like they towed no one.

reallynotnick

Ok, I’ll bite, like what laws?

I love my 13 mini, if they shrunk the bezels down like on the newer phones it would be especially killer.

Sold mom for almost $800 to some guy

Selling your mom is quite cold, especially for so little.

At 20s of charge the battery goes roughly from 10% to 15% full with 100 mystery units which starts at 71 before the charge starts.

If we assuming it is charging at 100kw that means the battery is only 11kWh because it would take just 400s or .11hr to charge 0-100%. So it simply can’t be kWh, as that is nonsensically small of a battery.

If we assume it’s km, that means the car has 700km range (434miles), which while very long feels a lot more plausible than a 11kWh battery.

Edit: and if you just google “BYD charging dash” you can see that last number is range. It doesn’t display the current charge speed in kW, there is an image further down in this article of the dash (this car is charging at 1500kw, so I guess it’s detonating 10 bombs): https://www.carwow.co.uk/editorial/going-electric/ev-charging/byd-flash-electric-car-charging

reallynotnick

It would have to be the tiniest battery then as you can see how quick the percentage goes up even when it’s a low “kW” (kWh is the capacity of the battery or total power delivered, the rate of the charger is kW), the rate the % goes up also doesn’t seem to be increasing at the same rate. Plus those values would be entirely unimpressive for kW to make a video about them.

reallynotnick

Yeah this makes the most sense otherwise the battery is crazy huge.

It’s just what I’ve seen most often parroted, I’m not sure the sources or who is considered reliable.

Rumors for PS6 are 8 Zen 6c + 2 LP (low power) cores.

reallynotnick

Good news for next gen consoles that are rumored to use the 6c cores, will be a huge improvement over zen 2.

Gift cards have to be activated, so if you can do it for $20 you can do it for $1000 items too.

I’m a fan of Dolby Cinema, but it’s still way behind my OLED in black levels and brightness. But if size is your priority, I can’t really speak for home projectors and how they compare.

reallynotnick

Glad to here they are moving to brightness matching as running on max brightness sort of makes for an unfair test.

reallynotnick

In the video they said it is max brightness, and they have plans for future tests where they are brightness matched.

You can’t passthrough AAC, that’s not supported it has to be decoded by the Shield and sent as PCM over HDMI. Now as to why it’s not being sent as 5.1 PCM I can’t say as I’ve never really used 5.1 AAC.

This is a dumb question, but is this with a debt card? Like with a credit card I know places can put a hold that later drops off in a few so you are never actually out of the money (just reduces your credit limit), but I’m not sure how this works with a debit card. Like do they actually take money out of your account and then redeposit it?

My apartment is like 2019 and I can say it’s only when it detects smoke that the others are set off. I feel like something was really messed up with your system as to your point it now becomes impossible to tell which one is the low one.

RIP that one Plex employee everyone’s subscription was tied to.

I mean they could also do a not full 2.2 as there is 64/80/96Gb/s. Maybe we’ll get something weird again like 64Gb/s.
