When a debate moderator pressed the governor about whether maintaining prohibition is a missed revenue opportunity for New Hampshire when its neighboring states have all already legalized cannabis, she replied that “this revenue comes at a huge cost.”
“It comes at the cost of the mental health of our young people. It comes at the cost of our quality of life,” Ayotte said. “I don’t think following because our neighbors do something, we should do it. We have the same discussion with our kids, right? If Johnny jumps off the bridge, are you going to jump off the bridge with it?”
The Republican governor claimed that “other states who have done this are starting to rethink their decision on it because you’ve seen the situation with traffic deaths.”
Wow, Kelly Ayotte has to be one of the dumbest governors in the country. And she's completely wrong because the Massachusetts repeal initiative looks like it's going to fail by a huge margin. No state wants to repeal legalization.

He's still one of the more talked about political commentators from everything that I've seen. His name is always in the news.
redditor01020
I don't think he's crazy. He just doesn't agree with far left reddit on some things and that makes him crazy in your eyes I guess.
redditor01020
Maybe he gave some consideration to some stuff Bill brought up at dinner, we don't know (I would assume that he did). It's hard to imagine what kind of propaganda victory Trump gets out of it though. The country is way too divided and this kind of isolationist mentality from the far left / reddit doesn't help. It's crazy, there's a lot of people on this platform that don't even talk to their own parents anymore because of who they voted for in the last election.
redditor01020
People that think both the left and the right can be crazy, and are looking for someone to call that out and make fun of.
redditor01020
According to reddit that would be bad, and Trump should only receive input from right wing crazy people he normally hears from.
redditor01020
Republicans not only stand with pedophiles and people who allow their children to be raped, but also kitten killers!
redditor01020
I don't know. The fact that there are so few of them on reddit makes me think the few of them here are actually real. Because Republicans do exist in the real world, just as many as there are of Democrats.
redditor01020
Like 2 of them probably. It's hard to find Republicans anywhere on reddit tbh.

I always assumed the stories of fentanyl-laced marijuana were BS, but whatever the case if you want to convince people to get rid of legal sales, bringing up a case where someone allegedly died of fentanyl-laced weed is not the way to do it. Prohibitionist logic fail here.

Good to see The Judge still out there doing his thing; he's always been a strong advocate for liberty. I wonder if Justin Amash has endorsed El-Sayed as well, since he's from Michigan and has clashed with Mike Rogers in the past.
redditor01020
I kind of like El-Sayed in some of the interviews I've seen of him but I still don't know much about him. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have him in the Senate over neocon Mike Rogers. Cenk has always been pretty cool in my book, and Ana seems to be pretty tired of a lot of bullshit from the left lately.

Pretty interesting. Here's the links to the letter pages if that makes it easier for anyone:

He's tanked on Polymarket ever since releasing the ad. It is definitely not being received well.
redditor01020
Cool. If you can sign up as a cosponsor when you get in congress, that would be awesome. And don't worry about it being too fringe or anything, because even people like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer support it.
redditor01020
Will you support legislation to provide transparency on UFOs, such as the UAP Disclosure Act? I know it's an issue that some people like to belittle, even on reddit, but I think there is actually broad bipartisan support for the American people being provided more transparency on this.

If anyone else would like to let them know how you feel, it’s [email protected] that told me even if I was polling at 50% if I didn’t raise $100,000 in 4 weeks I would not be eligible to debate. The Democrat didn’t meet that threshold in 6 months. So we got taxpayer funded Ed Gallrein propaganda instead.
https://x.com/Jtodd601/status/2112360607819203018
Taxpayers will fund a propaganda piece because this KET “debate” set arbitrary fundraising requirements so high not even the Democrats met them. If it were a debate he would run like the coward he is, just like the two debates he declined. Let them know how you feel.

Every word of this is true. We all know if the arbitrary fundraising limits didn’t protect Ed he would run like a coward from this “debate”. Now after being a ghost for 4 months taxpayers will fund his propaganda speech. Let @KET know how you feel. Then text 5 friends and let them know you’ll never support coward @EdGallrein

KET is publicly-funded TV station too, and this is what the people of Kentucky are getting out of it? Seems outrageous that they would do a disservice to the voters like this. Melissa Strange is a long shot but definitely still a viable candidate at 5% odds according to Polymarket. Jeremy Todd, the Libertarian candidate for KY-04, was excluded too of course.
redditor01020
Her odds are pretty long but it wouldn't take a miracle either considering she is at 5% on Polymarket. I understand the line probably has to be drawn somewhere but if someone has a 1 in 20 chance I would consider that a long shot but definitely not something that a publicly-funded TV station should rule out for the voters.
redditor01020
I know there was a related post about this yesterday but the focus seemed to be centered around a Kentucky Party candidate named Geoff Young, and little mention of Melissa Strange, the Democratic Party nominee. I don't know anything about Geoff Young and personally I'd have no problem with him being invited, or Jeremy Todd the Libertarian candidate either for that matter, but man this is just really STRANGE that even the Democratic nominee didn't get an invite and it was just a one-man showcase for Republican Ed Gallrein. What is going on at KET that they would make a decision like this?
redditor01020
I don't see how. From what I've seen reddit removes a lot of stuff that shouldn't be removed (useful domains for example), so I was showing OP a way around that.
redditor01020
If there are other automod rules blocking those words, it won't override those rules. The approve command only overrides content that has been soft-removed by reddit. If it's something really terrible that has been removed by reddit, [ Removed by Reddit ] will display and nothing will be able to override it (hard removal).
redditor01020
That sucks. Add something like this to your automod to automate the approvals.
type: any
body+title: [russia]
action: approve

How long will I live rent free in @realDonaldTrump’s head? Wait until he finds out we’re going to pass another Epstein bill AND vote on Impeaching Hegseth before I leave. That might renew the lease indefinitely!
Yeah they were against legalization in 2016, but even they can see the stupidity of having possession being legal without providing a legal way for people to get it, and all the kinds of problems that can bring.
