I have a feeling some know exactly but want to play the victim.
referenceonly77
It's not like it would hurt. Is it an experience vs best practice vs equipment type issue?

Well, one day, I was going about my day, minding my own business, when one of my engineers said the engineers at customer auto company asked if I needed all these numbers and lines on the blueprint, they want to clean up their prints. I mean if you wanted bubble print and make a list on the print, fine. But no, they wanted to make it look like the cad model. Yes my friend, you can't store info on paper like that 🙄. I have not been to a company that freely has cad models accessible, they are only acquired by manipulating from rigor mortis fingers.

An optical comparator would work with much less effort. Clamp or tape it on the ends as straight as possible.

I would also ask, is there a manual fixture alignment and an auto alignment on the part? I had one where doing a manual and auto on the fixture then locking in the part to do an auto align helped. Unless you have have a part where you have an x,y,z (machining fixture) then align datums you shouldn't need to worry about the fixture itself. It just really depends on where you're alignment starts and iterates and if you need a 3rd auto alignment. An r&r for the part and and one for the fixture sounds like a good place to start if you haven't already.

🤣🤣🤣 no, you just made sure he couldn't say the divorce came out of nowhere 🤣🤣🤣

Looks like you might need to use radio buttons. I don't/haven't used those enough to guide you. But it's part of dialogue designer
referenceonly77
Yes, to get to head data.
referenceonly77
I am going to look into your ask but So just in case, when looking at prog list the symbol that looks like bench with a line over it. To ensure it shows on your print out. Print format dialogue block check head data in output section. Even if you don't need it hopefully it helps someone else.
referenceonly77
Im not sure that's necessary if you're using the head data dialogue block even then somebody can find a way around it. Do you need that info too?
referenceonly77
She was being a decent human to a friend.
referenceonly77
Yes, I went through all 3 classes. Very helpful
referenceonly77
Are you verifying dims with a print or control sheet? Mistakes happen even with error proofing
referenceonly77
Condolences to you and your family. The making them into jewelry, putting a delicate chain through the hole of the stem for a necklace or bracelet. Same with earrings, an earring base from the craft store. Maybe a local jewelry maker from the craft fair, look around for something that could look similar, could make something. Bring one of each size and ask. It's a wonderful memory idea . Good luck

Just using it for tolerance of a cone on a generic program.
referenceonly77
Either I'm not doing it correctly or it's not what I needed. I'm just translating into to decimal until I can get it right.
referenceonly77
Would love to see that bad boy in action
referenceonly77
My apologies, I am using v5.3. And yes, always verify before execution 😁 thank you all. I'll try these to see what works and what works for my application

C:>Mcosmos(whatever version)>documents>"whatever part of the os you need to explore.
referenceonly77
Didn't a vehicle company just hire back all engineers this year because AI could not in fact do it all correctly?
referenceonly77
If I'm comprehending correctly. -B- dia is going to be your "create origin". -C- will be "align axis by point with offset" x being -12 and z being - whatever I'm not seeing on your print. Also go to c:> mcosmosx64_v(whatever your version is) >documentation> there you will find a list of manuals for each part of the operating system to learn about.

The first thing I always look for is the edit button anything that does editing. That way I at least get into a program, I copy a program and mess with it until I figure it all out. I've run PC dmis , mcosmos, I had a short try with cmmmanager, calypso and poly works but that was with an arm.
referenceonly77
Anyone know how to switch to command mode in mcosmos? It's sssooo slooow.
