It's not more expensive to enforce putting the bar down. I skied in NZ and the lifities will yell at you and stop the lift if you don't put the bar down.

When you buy an index fund you are picking businesses that have already succeeded after the fact.

What is a groomed mogul?

They aren't getting away with anything. A byte is a reading frame in a computer. It isn't really a unit that makes sense for data while it is in transmission over a wire.
resumethrowaway222
Because a "byte" has no meaning for data in transmission over a wire
resumethrowaway222
Why don't ski resorts care then? They seen to be terrified of people hurting themselves in every other way.
resumethrowaway222
I refuse to believe that the bar actually makes anything safer. America is a country where you can sue anybody anytime for anything, so the fact that the resorts, even with all their safety rules, really couldn't care less about putting the bar down tells me that it really isn't dangerous.

This would be awesome if the chair didn't have one of those awful bars that have all those pieces hanging down.

A CPA business of that size is going to be extremely dependent on client relationships of the owner. If you buy it, there might not really be a business there. There's a reason they trade at such a low multiple.

An insurance company you can buy for $100K? LOL

That's not very smart. You're trusting someone else with your investment. And if you're on this sub, I'm sure you know how useless a hiring process is to find someone competent.
edit: also his post says "I get to manage and build a business with my family" so he's definitely not doing that.

Sorry, I'm a judge at the Oppression Olympics and you both lose. The winner is native Americans.
resumethrowaway222
Really? 185 is only 6'1. I've never seen anyone of that height have a problem with it.
resumethrowaway222
Did you hear the accent?
resumethrowaway222
That's not how it works. The car owner can sue the LLC and the person who set it on fire.
resumethrowaway222
This is how it works now

If you think that running a business is easier than a corporate job, you've got a surprise coming. If you think having your family as your employees while running that business is a good idea, it's coming quick.

It wasn't founded in 1987. It was just a merger.
The company was formed in 1987 through the merger of fashion house Louis Vuitton (founded in 1854) with Moët Hennessy, which had been established by the 1971 merger between the champagne producer Moët & Chandon (founded in 1743) and the cognac producer Hennessy (founded in 1765).

Fuck off. We don't need another sub taken over by "Trump bad now give me upvotes" posts.
resumethrowaway222
Best out of the people running
resumethrowaway222
It's not hard on myself. It's just a fact that hiring processes are designed to avoid hiring a bad candidate rather than find the absolute best candidate.
resumethrowaway222
You can run for president, or any other position, without thinking you are the one best human for the job. I'm certainly not the single best human for my job. It's likely I'm not even the best out of all the candidates who applied for it.

American cultural victory!

It's not leaving out information because everyone who isn't a complete idiot knows that's what "acceptance rate" means.
Which is 16 years out of 48, so 33%. Not that interesting. What is interesting is that Democrats controlled congress for 44 out of those 48 years or 92%.
