This one and several others messed up. You will have to do a full /u/ instead of just one / for usernames with underscores. You've accidentally added people to the universal scammer list and that will need to be unwound by a moderator.

This is dumb and you should feel bad. Random acts of pizza has been closed for quite a while, and randomkindness is pretty dead. All you have succeeded in doing is getting users to spam those subreddits and get denied. And random acts of pizza, it's not need based.

Why would you call something free money, and then link to things that you aren't allowed to request money in?

As someone that helps run a local food pantry, people aren't affording much of anything extra in any way. We keep a printed sheet of local resources to offer people that come through, and in the past very few people would take it. Now we have people specifically asking for it and saying that they are going to send a picture of it to everyone they know. Unfortunately, a lot of those resources are hemorrhaging money. Another one of our local food pantries shut down because they aren't receiving donations anymore.

Even my local veterinary clinic that has been known to be beyond kind and reasonable has stopped extending any form of credit unless you have been a client there for 10 years or more, and credit is only good up to $100.

One of my friends is currently making a decent profit by driving cars from out of state that won't pass inspection to Florida where we don't have inspection, and curb stoning them. A $2,000 car will sell in under 24 hours.

Nope. Sorry. Soonish.

Op should probably have a lawyer on retainer at this point.

rhubes

Haha. This is one of my younger Reddit accounts! I have some 17-year-old posts saved in some of my other ones. That one from personal finance definitely sticks with me though. That post is serious quality content.

As the GoFundMe States your friend is waiting on their insurance claim, please have them review this:

I'm sorry, I really think you are misunderstanding me. I had genuine confusion as to what you were talking about. I thought you meant people were acting weird to you here.

I understand you have pictures on the gofundme, but they have to go in the post Here on the subreddit. Look at how other people post if I'm not explaining myself right? They have the picture of them holding their username, and all of the bills that can be seen without clicking on the GoFundMe

I'm not making assumptions about you, I'm literally trying to help you make a post here. If I thought you were scamming I would ban you. You deserve to be able to post. You just have to do it the same way as everyone else.

rhubes

Ah, I misunderstood you. I understand now. Unfortunately, you have not followed the rules to have a post approved. That is why it has not gone live. Make a new post without deleting your old one

People absolutely will assume it is a scam without proof. That is why we have the requirements in that link. That, and people are just assholes sometimes.

rhubes

You kept trying to push a go fund me when your account wasn't eligible, and then you downvoted the automated system telling you how to make a post.

People absolutely are jerks, but you have to follow through with everything

rhubes

Op: edit your post and put a GoFundMe Link in it. Message moderator mail after you have done that.

rhubes

She's pretty easy to pinpoint. Having even a low karma requirement of five comment karma would pretty much end her shenanigans on most pages.

rhubes

This is a long-term ongoing scammer. They have had multiple accounts suspended.

rhubes

Alternate accounts for /u/Wise-Tension-7748:

/u/alternativewear9372 /u/angelbaby4876 /u/certain-test-8698 /u/glittering_leader969 /u/helpallanimals /u/huge_broccoli7604 /u/itchy-zebra-8075 /u/legitimate_pain_1280 /u/ready_will_2962

There are some of their accounts here. These are just the ones that I know of. They keep getting suspended.

The user is apparently a scammer.

rhubes

This is your third account at least, and someone said that you are a scammer on your other accounts? And those accounts got suspended.

rhubes

Don't private message me, please

rhubes

You said 2 weeks ago that your account was hacked. It wasn't. You handed over all of your account information on discord and likely other places, for apparently no reason.

Contact the airlines, and your payment processor, because if you have already paid for these tickets, they still exist. Just prove your identity to them.

It's october. You have until January to sort this out.

There are no items on that wish list, and the other wish list associated with that account is... Definitely not Halloween costumes. I think you should probably look towards the assistance subreddit? We don't allow holiday posts, and if you look at our group, we are very low engagement and not exactly for what you are looking for.

rhubes

There's a lot of contradictory or flat out nonsense lines in it.

rhubes

I am so sorry it took so long to get back to you! Check out the subreddit called singleusecodes and I think there's one that's called coupons, or couponing? Unfortunately we do not allow subscription type boxes codes offers because honestly some of the people here don't have enough sense to cancel the subscription and they wind up getting charged for the next box and then they completely lose their minds on us and then everyone feels bad for a couple of days.

We also don't allow users private message people because that's when they start asking you for money. This happens a lot.

But thank you for thinking of us! That is so incredibly sweet of you.

And you just Accidentallymanaged to come to a fundraising subreddit to berate people for posting a fundraiser, while you didn't even bother to read the rules for commenting?

Scoot off.

rhubes

Yeah it kind of sucks. I personally know exactly how expensive that stuff is. I have a cat that went through eight or nine different kinds of prescription food at $35 a pop. Ugh.

Unfortunately, many years ago in a different subreddit that I helped with, the administrators chewed my butt apart over someone offering a free contact lenses. They scolded the Mods team over it being a prescription. Looking back on it, it's funny now, it wasn't funny then though.

Thank you so much for thinking of us. And I really hope your cat finds the right food. Very little is worse than a cat with digestive issues.
