I see where you're coming from. It seems more on the extreme side but I'd be down something milder during the first hour of 1.0 with narrative to support it. I can't picture starting out in a crashed ship but doing more within your starting city before finally taking off into the verse would be cool.

You could use a laptop, DAW, an audio interface, a wired PA speaker (Bluetooth could work but there might be drop outs and speed changes due to connection). You could always use an iPad or phone with a pa speaker depending on the connections, but I prefer having more control with a laptop.

We don't know except for that it's not final till 1.0. I don't think the move is going back to the original because it was low res, but improving from the one we have now. It needs to be darker, less cloudy, more stars with placement that makes sense.

Probably, SQ42 should be released and they will most likely have extra hype following that and the release of Starchitect, Nyx and porting over features from SQ42. If they can achieve all that while keeping bugs and performance under control, it'll be a pretty massive year.
