Visit an actual castle. I don’t have a lot of money to travel, especially overseas, but I would love to visit something far older than my own country and filled with so much history. Castles have always been a love of mine. If I saw one in person and got to walk around inside, I think I’d cry.

Tempered glass explodes like this sometimes. All it takes is one bad hit on the edge or corner or a tiny micro crack that gets bumped once too much. I always get wary around glass doors like this. It’s all fine until it’s not and then it fails catastrophically.

My coworkers. I started my last job with a small group of folks and a boss who didn’t really care when we came in, so long as we got our work done. We all went out to the local bar every payweek Friday to just chill and hang out. We would go to each other’s houses for cookouts and parties. Then the merger happened…

Our small company was purchased and absorbed by another, my boss wasn’t promoted, despite our numbers and quality exceeding expectations, and instead they hired some dumbass off the street as our manager. As a result, my boss quit and the new management just made things worse from there.

That was the first job I ever walked out of. I was hired by my current company with pay nearly double of what I was getting and put my two weeks in not even an hour later. Still, it was a shame. I did enjoy the work I did there and I was close friends with a lot of people there. I met my girlfriend there and she still works there and she tells me about the daily bullshit that’s still happening.

I still talk to and hang out with a few coworkers that have since moved onto other companies as well. Fuck that merger for ruining a good thing!

Easily Facebook. I’m only on it because of my business and some of my distant family members, but I avoid everything else because people can be really vile there. Every social media has its bad side, sure, but it’s especially prominent on there and it’s hard to avoid it.

This and anal gland smell. I used to work at a vet and kennel as a dog walker and smelled both. Rancid shit!

Butterfingers. Such a sucker for those from childhood trick or treating into adulthood!

$1000 at a lottery at pet expo my parents took me to. I put a ticket in for it, thinking nothing of it and then they called me at near end of the day. It was a cash payment too. 10 crisp $100 bills. I gave some to my parents and used some of the rest to buy two whites tree frogs I fell in love with at one booth and was sad I couldn’t afford. Guess I was fated to have them!

Oh I plan on taking pictures of the final sort at the end of the year! I’ll probably sort it around new years.

Ever since I got food poisoning by meat I “could have sworn smelled a little weird, but maybe I’m just imagining things” I always give it a sniff test before cooking. The meat I got sick from was new from the store and within the sell by date and it was still off. Your nose knows. If it smells off, toss it!
