Someone asked for a French roast coffee. I tried to explain to her we didn't have it. I asked if she wanted a French vanilla latte she said no. Then I asked her if she wanted a brewed coffee. She just said the same thing as before. I just shit myself up and poured her a coffee.

There's a barista I work with who is kind of like that. Even if we are slammed they are always saying they are fine when they are soloing.

I'm confused about the dark caramel for fraps. If it's half pumps do you do 2/3/4 for the sizes? Sorry I know this is off topic.

I think I hear Elton John's songs (the mainstream ones) ways to much. I prefer to hear other foreign music (not Spanish because there are already many playlists for those genres) or older music from the 90s or 50s.

Could also be how they blend it together. I sometimes blend it on 4 instead of 3. Also could be how full they are filling the matcha spoons. Also could be the ratio of ice to milk or what order they are putting in the ingredients.

I always hear the ticket printing noise when I'm pre-closing or it's at a quieter period at the store.

This sounds excessive. I would transfer or look for an alternative job if I were you.

Similar thing happened when I was on cold bar. A customer was standing at handoff. Right in the middle blocking the whole area. I asked her what she needed. She told me she was waiting for her order and her name. I told her I will start making it and I have a whole bunch of orders. Then I while I handed her order she's like "You're so popular today". God I hate when people do that. Or people cheet me on when I'm under pressure during peak. 😩

I made a drink with 12 shots of espresso once. At 8pm. Almost nothing fazes me anymore.

I rather solo bar for cafe only than drive thru. I work at a cafe only store. It is pretty common especially during non-peak times.

Idk why but Starbucks almond milk you always have to shake. Maybe do to the time it sits in Warehouses??? I've never had to shake store bought almond milk before
