apos has been posting about it a lil but on the forum BMD, starting around here. he’s done some writeups of the major factions and answered some questions and such!

i don't think the show is framing him that way, really. obviously there's nothing safe or sane about him, but that's the appeal for the target audience: enjoying him as an obsessive yandere. it's not about him being good husband material in a real life relationship; it's about enjoying the crazy obsessive yandere mode.
something being a romance doesn't have to mean the relationship is at all healthy. crazy toxic romance can be very fun to watch

there's a really big security vulnerability impacting PHP, which is a scripting code used by a ton of websites. this isn't specific to Squidge at all, this is more like when Cloudflare went down and we saw tons and tons of websites have to be down with it.

you might vibe with Banana Fish for that sense of grounded human evil

yes, absolutely, it's just very regional. i've lived in the northeast for most of my life and am used to the vast majority of people calling it "soda."

awesome! i think Link Click has a plethora of great OPs and EDs, but Vortex is still my favorite

The season 2 OP of Link Click, Vortex, still lives rent-free in my brain.

if it's not what you ordered or it's cooked egregiously incorrectly (like a steak ordered medium rare coming out well done), then yes it's normal! my dad always told us the philosophy that it's better for a restaurant to know when mistakes are happening, so that if there's a pattern, they can fix it. if a restaurant is making constant mistakes but no one is really alerting them to the fact, all that results is fewer and fewer people going to that restaurant. plus you're paying for the food and experience, so it's reasonable to expect to get what you paid for that in that regard.
that said, everyone in my family has always been very polite and friendly to restaurant staff! we're not fussed or upset over an occasional mistake, even if we ask for it to be fixed.
what you don't generally send food back for is if you just -- don't care for it. sending food back is generally for the kitchen having made a mistake, not for something just not being to your personal tastes.

lol well that’s not true! i mean, for one thing, shipping includes the canon couples! the most popular ship in the DB fandom is probably vegeta and bulma and they have tons of fan work about them
but at the same time the canon ships are irrelevant for who people decide to ship. which couples in a work are canon isn’t really the point of shipping in general
rozzingit
lol it’s not neck and neck in the DB fandom. it’s the power scalers, and by a LOT.

visually it all looks great, but i do hope we don’t lose all of the humor of super.

i feel like the bowling bawl should have been put last for maximum comedic effect

yeah i don't think anyone argued against simply dropping a fic if you don't like the formatting. but it was the OP specifically couching the whole thing as the writers being rude and inconsiderate by doing it that falls under the idea of "authors don't respect readers' time" for me
rozzingit
Your commenter actually has a fair point. “Top / bottom” refers only to who is doing the penetrating vs being penetrated
women can penetrate men

there was a post on here pretty recently with someone equating bad formatting to bad etiquette/rudeness

heaven official's blessing has zero explicit smut even in the original novel. the manhua certainly doesn't have it; manhua never does, considering the laws in china

🙄
Lost in the Cloud, A Lovely Meal, Killer Crush, Regas, Heaven Official's Blessing, Murderous Lewellyn's Candlelit Dinner, Little Mushroom, The Hunter's Gonna Lay Low, Curveball and Splitter, Traces of the Sun, Love Tractor, HONBUL: Flame of the Soul, The 11th School Trip
rozzingit
lol. lmao.
How many bl manhwas are there without smut?

Annie at Texture Temple in Newton is great. I've never gone that short with her, but she listens so much to what I want and asks so many questions to make sure she delivers exactly what I'm looking for. I can't imagine her refusing to cut that short.

they should be paragraph breaks, rather than line breaks. doing only line breaks makes it more difficult to parse. paragraph breaks are grammatically standard.
for justification, i would generally leave that to the user; if they prefer justified text, they can adjust their site skin.

I can get why it was such a powerful moment for Shun, considering he had never been with a guy before despite having wanted to in the past. But the decision to make that scene "touching" completely confused me: it felt like they were supposed to look cute and evoke tears while making love. Cuteness and moving emotions aren't things I connect with sex at all, and that made me cringe hard. As I mentioned, I’m not a super emotional person, so maybe that’s why I disliked this scene so much?
i admit that i find this criticism to be pretty strange. sex being a moment of emotional vulnerability and intimacy is a hugely common experience. it feels a bit like you're maybe a little uncomfortable with the vulnerability on display?
why shouldn't the scene be touching? it's two people reaching for a new level of intimacy with each other. what about people being vulnerable and emotional during sex makes you uncomfortable?
On top of that, it also weirded me out how Shun, being 7 years older, felt the need to be the bottom. I know, there are no rules when it comes to making love, but throughout the entire film, Shun always came across as the dominant one in the relationship... or at least, that’s how I perceived him. He’s shady, avoids certain interactions, and acts nonchalant. I wasn't expecting that choice, which isn't a huge deal on its own, but combined with everything else I've mentioned, it really threw me off.
why do you associate topping with age or dominance??? this point in particular speaks more to some preconceived notions you have.
Also, I’m not sure if the manga is similar to the anime, but usually, they are.
the anime is definitely more rushed than the manga; it would have had more time to breathe as a series rather than a single movie, and likely the pacing wouldn't have felt so fast. the pacing was definitely a result of time constrictions.

that used to be the case, but it’s all back on crunchyroll now
if you're at a potluck and you don't like the food someone made, do you feel compelled to tell them? or do you just think "not to my tastes" and move on?
a very long time
