I suggest putting an answer to the question in the sidebar and pinning a post about it. And ideally there would be a bot that would detect those questions and give the stock answers. I feel like banning is not really necessary and is kind of like kicking someone when they are in a bad position. A lot of people posting those questions may be running out of money.

I was 7 so I was just trying to learn the basics. What I remember was like a bunch of random lines in different colors :P. But I know I went through most of the Extended Color Basic examples. Don't remember details.

I tried it out. Pretty cool. The first computer I really dug into was a CoCo2 which was very similar.

I think people just need to see some Cart Narcs videos.

They might just think he's a dick at first, but the videos are addictive. They will get sucked in and change their whole worldview.

I was thinking maybe somehow she inherited the curse when born.

My guess is it will still be a platform for 2-3 years, but the amount of work will be going down quite a lot at some time within 12-18 months. Probably already is starting to taper off, and that will continue to accelerate except for specific domains of expertise that they target in bursts of several months for each one.

Great werewolf movie. For some reason, I wish Meg turned into a werewolf too. I really thought that was going to be the twist. Like, she got her first kill (her dad, that finally killed it because it was a stake through the heart at dawn or something), then that triggered her into being cursed herself.

So when they were out in the woods with the camera, I thought she was going to be filming herself transforming.

My guess is they may have wanted to do that at one point, but maybe when they weren't sure if it was going to be a movie or a TV show. And possibly by the end they ran out of budget/time to do her transformation and didn't have any reason to think there would be a second film, so the went with zombie dad in shackles instead.

Seedance 2.5

I think a lot of people will buy that. I don't. But congratulations, you are a master.

Either you work with him or he fooled you. Why are his posts/comments private?

runvnc

Why are your comments and posts private? And why did you make this post about somewhere far away from you? And why was there no hint of a reason for why you made this post in the post? Not even a cover story.

runvnc

Why are your posts/comments hidden? Do you work for this "rentnowrgv" in a marketing capacity at all?

See r/r/trs80/ for help fixing it.

Give it like a couple of years, the vast majority of training will be done by AI. Just like the majority of jobs. I would guess that for a lot of it, they are probably already starting to switch over to agent swarms.

They are sucking the skills and knowledge out of humans as fast as they can. The hardware, model architecture, training architecture, and software harnesses continue to improve.

There are massive performance advancements in new hardware developments with flash and in a few years true compute-in-memory coming. So the raw intelligence of the models will continue to improve significantly.

High-end PCs and laptops are now all designed with AI hardware built in, and over the next couple of years you will see a huge push for domain-specific applications, language models, embedding models, and solutions that aim to take advantaged of local AI for specific types of tasks.

They are already at the stage where they are squeezing the last drops out of human knowledge in many domains like programming, legal etc.. There are still domains left where they have a ways to go, especially those involving spatial manipulation, but even those only have a couple of years.

This is an abomination. It's mac and cheese, not mac and pepper. I am reporting it.

am I wrong for wishing it was legal to keep RPGs in your car?

Is this the final boss of hipster laptops to show off at the coffee shop? I dare you.

Anyway, I love it. Integrated little printer, microcassette drive, classic keyboard.

Found an online emulator: https://metaweta.github.io/ts-hx20/

I checked it out, very interesting. I didn't know you could play NES in a BBS. Tried it, worked pretty well. Checked the weather here, looked at the forums, added a oneliner, checked out the net thing, and checked out MRC (which doesn't really have many people) and multiple door games. There are a LOT of door games. It would be good if I could clone myself to have time to check them all out. Or even just get into one or two thoroughly.

is it not possible to set up telnet or ssh?

runvnc

Not only does it have a massive amount of compressed air to do that thruster landing, it also has a very powerful fan/fans that can suck it to the ground so it can do like over 2 G turns at speed. Or drive upside down.

runvnc

Because these posts are completely misleading. It's just using the Vectrex as a display and everything is coming out what is basically a different modern system in the cart.

Right. I believe that is the reason they did it. She has been the innocent _pro_tagonist. Even if people would somehow accept a complete flip from innocent to mass-murderer, most are not going to ride along with her being the "good guy" much longer after that.

They could have done something like that maybe, but they would have to push the theme of society being evil garbage pretty hard to the point where they would lose most of their audience that way.

I do think they could have kept some of their audience if they just let her be a monster and then felt remorse and otherwise tried to rationalize it. But that would have lost a big percentage of them.

runvnc

Just admit you used AI. I don't think there is anything wrong with using AI. In fact it only makes sense. But people who lie about it should get banned.

runvnc

I mean, when I was 8, my brain was mature enough to know not to lie.
