Realistically you're going to have to watch the video slowly and draw it yourself.
If it's old, but not famous or historically significant there's not going to be plans of it anywhere. You can try real estate sites like Zillow to see if it's been sold recently and they happened to include a plan in a listing photo.
Could also try the public records of your tax assessors office. Won't have a floor plan, but a deed may have the building footprint to get you started.

Yes, look at the Zen Bivy products. And I think Big Agnes makes one, or used to.

100% a drill. We watched them do the same series of drills on a cruise last month while we were in port. We were sat at one of the locations they called the Bravo for and got to watch the officers with stopwatches time the arrival of the emergency response crewmembers.
There was probably a "we'll be doing some safety drills shortly" announcement a few minutes before the first bravo that you just happened to not hear.

The building is only required to be compliant at time of the building's commissioning. If external conditions change after the fact the company that built the building is not liable.
If anything your beef is with the train line operator...but good luck with that. You can try getting a large number of residents along the new line to petition for noise abatement, but you're in for a long slow fight.

It would be really interesting to run your spectrum analyzer on the speaker as-built, and then run it again with the inner driver disconnected. See what it's really contributing. Shoot me a reply if you post the results.

A TL yes, an isobaric, no. Extend that partition to seal the front and you've got an isobaric with a MLTL rear. As-is that inner driver isn't doing shit for for the output.
rusty075
Does the inner partition really stop short of the top like the sketch shows?

"I live in a brand new house in this neighborhood. How dare you try to build another new house in this neighborhood!"
rusty075
The followup question now is, "so why do you make the noncleanable version at all?"
rusty075
You're on the right track. I've used both the Squeeze and now a Platypus Quickdraw to drink out of lots of reality gross AZ cattle ponds and never had an issue from either.
The silty water will slow them down fast, so try to prefilter best you can and be prepared to backwash often.

You gotta get some of that Nvidia money to fund your research.

I'm interested. I charge $1,000/hr for consulting. I'll write you up a proposal and we can get that signed and get to work.

What you want is r/Sailing.
Buy a cheap used boat, take sailing lessons so you don't die, go out to sea.

They haven't. The fans are still there. In a modern hotel they are roof mounted gang fans that pull air silently from whole stacks of guest rooms. Look at the ceiling in those bathrooms, there will be a small vent that is separate from the AC vent.

No, I'm with you. I've had mine for 5 years. But Zoleo is moving too slow. A "new" version every 5 years that doesn't really improve anything is not a recipe for surviving in tech. Could have upgraded the antennae to MultiGNSS, or the battery life, or made it smaller, or something. Doesn't have to be "new" features, just improve things.
It would be one thing if Zoleo was cheap. Right now the device is only $50 cheaper than a Garmin and Zoleos new pricing plans are now more expensive and more restrictive than the competition.
No one who already has a Zoleo is going to upgrade to this, and it's not going to pull in many people who are cross shopping it with a Garmin that has more features for the same money. The market of people who say, "I want fewer features" is just pretty small.
Makes me sad and frustrated is all.
rusty075
Look at the competition. Look at the generational change in the Garmin InReach Mini 1 and the new Mini 2.
The thing is that the niche the Zoleo fills, that of a "satellite modem" to connect your phone when you're out of cell service, is dying. Nearly every new phone sold now has a satellite modem built in.
Garmin saw this and added functionality to let the Mini operate as a more fully independent device. You can use a Mini alone if you broke your phone in the backcountry.
Zoleo saw this and swapped the USB port and changed the plastic color.

Settings/Preferences/Activity-based-Personalizations, turn off the stuff listed under Suggestions. That's probably what you saw.

Wild. If I open the app and hit the Welcome Aboard for my actual cruise that's leaving next month like a normal person would, nothing shows up. But if I go the "Don't see your cruise" route and add the exact same sailing that way the What to Pack list does show up and includes the new 4-USB port restriction.
And the website FAQ still doesn't show it. Nor does it appear on the on the forbidden item list that's linked from the the official cruise documents that they email to everyone.
RC's IT never ceases to amaze me.
rusty075
They'll probably point you to the chargers they sell in the gift shop.
But I really, really question how much this will be enforced. I can't imagine the X-ray tech is really going to be counting USB ports on every charging brick in every suitcase. I don't really understand why it's a policy to be honest.
Maybe a room steward could flag it if they saw it, but they're customer service and work for tips. Doesn't seem like they'd raise the issue unless something happened.

You cannot currently set a persistent response style for Gemini for Home. You can for normal Gemini, but Home does not (yet?) have that functionality.
Only thing you can do is ask it to be concise each time you ask it question. "Hey Google, concisely explain the Dewey Decimal system to me"
Lame, but that's all you can do.
Here's a fun thing though: go into the Home App, and in the search bar search for "What do you remember?" and it'll spit out everything Gemini for Home has figured out about you.

No no, just the opposite. My point was if they had a registered trademark it would be super easy to slap that down on Amazon and make this go away. Hell, Amazon's automated system may have caught it and not let it go live.
rusty075
Does Pending equal Registered?
rusty075
The actual answer is no, Matician, Inc does not have a registered trademark on the Matic Robot name.
The food on a cruise ship is safer than the food you are cooking at home or eating in the restaurants in your town.
When people get sick on cruises it's not from the food.
