Brittle polticial structures are necessary. Take the Syria example, when rebel groups started to get rolling the whole structure shattered; it had no ability to repair and weather damage. When Wagner marched on Moscow, many local political leaders stood aside and let them pass without trouble. It didn't succeed but it does indicate that in a time of crisis the Russian people won't stop an overthrow from happening.
