When I was a wb coordinator for my section if someone was behind on quals they got multiple ui watches every duty day until they qualified. Some folks need a "helping hand"

Wow! What a sorry excuse of a man! I could never imagine treating my wife and mother of my children that way! It's pretty pathetic...

I was on leave out of state visiting my then fiance and was supposed to fly back on the 12th. After everything all flights were grounded so I couldn't get back. I called my CPO to ask if i should try to get a bus ticket back and was told to just stay put until they opened up the airports. Ended getting several days (can't remember exact number of days but it was not insignificant) of free leave because I was never charged for the extra days.

Loved them. Didn't love working whites though.

Knew an OS1 back in the day that lived sorta like this. He made a buttload of money taking other people's duty days (overseas and at home). He was a bit odd but I believe his goal was to retire from the Navy at 20 with enough savings to never work again. Don't know if be achieved it but he certainly hardly ever spent money and made out on making the money on the side taking duty days.

A school is where you lean the trade you join ed the Navy to do. So I guess if you joined to work on computers because you like them and choose to go in as an IT then yes you would be learning something you are interested in. A recruiter can let you know what jobs are available.

They were classes that led to degrees. Some were better than others. All were required for the specific degrees. I've never taken a class that wasn't part of a degree plan. They weren't Navy related whatsoever. They were paid for by the Navy though. Hope that helps.

Join the military. You're young. If you're healthy, a recruitet could have you shipped out pretty quick. Some of the jobs available have pretty significant enlistment bonuses if you qualify, and you will have money for college when you get out. Good luck.
sailorjoenavy
Wow! That dude's a piece of shit. GTFO!
sailorjoenavy
Out of curiosity. How many of you that have come in after the changes to the retirement system would have a harder time getting out if it was still under the old high3 system?
sailorjoenavy
Broseph, you're only young once. Get out of there. Do the job Corp thing someone suggested. Join the military (thought I heard about one of the branches removing ged requirements). Do anything other than what you've been forced into by your parents. Idc what u say they do NOT have your best interests at heart.

11 is not that high of a number (not that it matters). You're better off if that is what deters him from marrying you.

The only thing I noticed was a generally better mood, a bit more energy, and more body hair. You'll be fine.

We had a guy whose HHG burned up in transit. He was given alot of leeway to take care of his family and buy new stuff. The rest of us kept him in the loop and he finished up with us.
I went to the one on Princess anne near kempsville. They had them all but super sayan goku. They let me buy them without ordering food.
