She's gonna get a 4 man going deep on her bro

samdd1990

Awww poor you

samdd1990

All very valid, and to be clear, I don't go on cruises, but that wasn't what the person I replied to was referring to.

samdd1990

I think it's Manchester now. Much better buzz and for me (and I'm a southerner) feels like it has and has had a bigger cultural impact.

Brum is just so meh.

samdd1990

Yeah he clearly doesn't get near the goal enough.

He'd score more of he listened to your advice.

samdd1990

Don't be a fucking travel snob. Everyone has a different appetite for what they want out of trip and you looking down on them that achieves nothing other than making you look like a tool.

samdd1990

Have you done coke while hiking yet?

It's not the best drug for it but it's ok, especially if you aren't alone

samdd1990

It's probably because there is advice to people who are going there to party.

Yes, Thailand is clearly much safer than South Africa in the whole, but lots of people going to Thailand go there to take drugs and do other potentially semi-legal or illegal things. I expect the advice is an effort to address that.

We decided a while ago that life was about more than talking about gravy, what you call small round pieces of bread, or telling the world how.mucj friendlier we are than everyone else.

So instead we built an economy, we are fine.

samdd1990

And yet it's the right who supports Russia in the war and is anti Ukraine (on the whole) it's almost like we are being manipulated and pushed into boxes and made to point fingers at each other rather focusing on the fucks who are taking advantage of all of us.

samdd1990

I swear I didn't tear up at his speech. I wasn't crying, you were!

samdd1990

There are quite a few Facebook groups that people sell material on, LT isn't exactly somewhere you just pop to like you are describing, unless you put serious time aside for it.

samdd1990

That conflict was quite obviously what was being referred to in the comment I originally replied to. It's also ridiculous how much of a pass the IRA gets, they were fucking terrorists, bombing civilians in the 90s has fuck all to do with Irish independence.

I think the whole thing is ridiculous. I don't need to own up to anything, because I havent done anything. I'm sure some of my ancestors did, and in many ways that was deplorable, but it's anachronistic to paint them as some exceptional for those acts.

They did it because they could, there is no such thing as intrinsically good or bad countries, there are strong countries and weak countries, just like now there are countries with power throwing their weight around and doing deplorable things.

I'm sure you are from one of those countries that have never done a single thing wrong right? While you sit there wanking over your chance to frame me as a colonial apologist and tell me how evil my ancestors were. Pathetic.

samdd1990

The Army were giving out free hand jobs.

No of course they fucking weren't, but they killed an awful lot less civilians than the IRA did.

I'm not condoning the actions of anyone, just trying to point how ridiculous it is to keep going on our "murderous English" for things that happened generations ago.

It's absolutely ridiculous and the only reason the whole nationalism thing gets any airtime is because wannabe Irish Americans like to use it as an excuse to try and shit on the Brits and printed they haven't been the biggest imperialist fucks of the last 80 years.

samdd1990

You dont know about my homie so-crates?

samdd1990

Yes, because English people were carbombing children.

Oh Cromwell bad, sure, but your (assuming you are Irish) parents and grandparents were literally baby killing terrorists.

samdd1990

Woodchester valley near me has a few great wines.

samdd1990

I'm similarly well travelled, what stick out as absolute highlights for you?

Also respect you have ticked off a healthy.number of microstates there, I always find them interesting

samdd1990

Eat plenty of carrots, satsumas, clementines, sweet potatoes and pumpkins.

Become what you want to be.

samdd1990

Well the french obviously don't but I think the rest of us do

samdd1990

My main takeaway from this sub is a reminder that some people are utterly clueless when it comes to finding good food/the right places to eat.

samdd1990

People aren't born with phobia. They are an entirely curable (usually) thing that develops as a result to your environment.

A phobia is an irrational fear of something. You aren't born with an irrational fear of spiders or anything like that

samdd1990

Ah yes, but Rome wasn't built in a day, so you should do as the Romans do.

samdd1990

Yeah some people lying about where they are from here, I spent plenty of time in Chile and didn't hear one person saying the Islands should be Argentinian, lol.

samdd1990

Yeah but you are all gay
