Not exactly right. A nomination in voting would need to clear before anything in the nine L17 cells nearby can enter voting.

samfun

Might be a translation issue. Perhaps include links explaining universities are publicly accessible and not considered "adult services"?

samfun

Those people are no different than you and me. We're given considerable latitude to decide what's great or not.

For most things it's not wrong to accept or reject unless there's an official "clarification" like trail markers or benches, in which case there's less but still some room for interpretation.

samfun

I know it's not guaranteed but have not met anyone with two open slots not getting the eggs. It's either an absurdly high chance like 99% almost like they are trolling us, or a very rare bug. I'm on the latter.

samfun

Ignore all all the downvotes you're getting. This isn't the most welcoming community. Some people here just do that to things that look ineligible as if they're reviewing a submission.

If it's a furniture shop it's not private property for Wayfarer. Like u/Konkuriito said you still need evidence it's permanent.

samfun

Irrelevant as the system displays in the language the reviewer uses not the one for the submission.

Btw OP the main photo should focus on the art not the surrounding

samfun

zorua has always worked that way it wasn't new for cd

samfun

Rule is not on single family private residential property (including front yard) and it's the same everywhere.

But many reviewers accept those so it seems inconsistent depending on review quality and "philosophy"

samfun

Did you appeal? Apt pools are 100% eligible. The only way to get banned is your local submitting fake evidence it doesn't exist or you misplacing it or using 3rd party photos.

samfun

fresh food / market section of the centre with a few eateries

I would submit it as a separate Wayspot with the sign "Hunter & Gatherer" as the anchor. Take a few photos of the eateries and include a Google maps link for additional references.

The seating area can be another submission. Or if you're feeling lazy the dome itself can be accepted with luck.

If you submit both pin them in different cells if possible.

without too many people in it

Rule is faces not allowed in the main photo, but I know how awkward is it to take pics when people are in front.. It helps to do it at an angle kinda saying hey I want to snap this place and you just happened to be in it...

samfun

Sorry for the coming barrage of harsh words but this is a very poor submission. The POI may be eligible but you're not doing it justice at all.

Main photo: you're nominating the seating area but photo focus isn't on the seats at all. If you want to show the surrounding that's for supporting photos.

Why is it distinct? Take more photos and explain. How common is it? Plants sound generic. The dome is nice but you didn't talk about it at all.

samfun

We never quite know what qualifies as voting rings. Skip until you see the target submission? Reject everything else?

Or, accept most things including the target submission? I remember seeing a case here someone was permabanned for accepting "family's" submissions and they had like an absurd 1000:1 agreement ratio. Less extreme but similar pattern here. So if OP happens to have a roommate or a friend on the same wifi submitting I can totally see OP getting perma'ed with no recourse.

samfun

42 had been accepted and 1 was rejected

I take that you got 43 agreements, of which 42 were accepts and 1 was reject.

That's pretty bad ratio. You're accepting way too much stuff that should be rejected. Reviewing normally won't get you in trouble, but with this review volume, you can get warned or even banned for spam accepting.

Search "Niantic Wayfarer submission-type" (e.g. graffiti, restaurant) to see how you should judge. It's not much work and will help you get the medal faster.

samfun

You can if they think you're in a review ring.

It's exceedingly rare but cataclysmic because unlike other offences such as location misplacement, there's almost no way to plead your case on appeal. They see your review pattern and decide it's abusive with no explanation.

But if you do want the medal, it's slow but 100% safe to just do one review a day WIHTOUT skipping. After all you can't establish a pattern with sample size = 1.

samfun

changing their detection methods

It's not automated. Strikes have always been manually issued by Wayfarer staff on an individual basis.

The most common innocent mistakes are misplacement. It's harsh but they do warn/ban people for pinning location as little as 5-10m from the actual POI.

If you're worried you can always run your submission on the official forum before.

samfun

That medal is tied to review not submission

samfun

That's support chat not email

samfun

Because it core breaks gatr melmetal which I'm running

samfun

I'm not sure if reviewers are "cut throat" but this sub and official forum are basically run by 30ish people most much stricter than average. I can safely say my local reviewers are nothing like that.

Obviously review standard varies from place to place, but if you're having trouble chances are your submission -- not necessarily your nomination -- isn't that great. It takes a while to learn how to frame a POI. You want to hit certain keywords while keeping it at a reasonable length.

samfun

My impression is more nominations and less reviews in warmer months since people spend more time outside. It should speed up once we're in deep miserable mode.

Submission quality also matters. I'm still getting one day decision for slam dunks but the very marginal ones took two months (accepted!)

samfun

6 stops 2 gyms 1 power spot.. Do you need a new roommate?

How many seconds will you save in the next three months raiding with shadow Zekrom? It's not worth going out of your way hunting Giovanni.

Being on his side is doing what's best for him. If they managed to convince him to embrace being an impact sub, he might already have one or two World Cups to his name.
