But cosmetic surgury is going to fix this?

satan-repented

I understand the topic enough and have a friend who went through with the hormone treatments, but thanks for the lecture. I'm not talking about conversion therapy or trying to force people to conform to their assigned gender as a social construct.

I'm referring to our physical biology, and the idea that the solution to our psychological issues is irreversible and destructive cosmetic surgury that can mean a lifetime of ongoing treatment, therapy and care. I remain unconvinced that this is something we should encourage.

The majority of Alaska is south of the Arctic circle. Do you even know how to map?

We license drivers, we license ordinary pilots, no reason not to do the same with drones. Should probably have different types of licenses and weight limits too.

satan-repented

Yeah, before this can work, leaseholds need to be abolished or changed to kill this type of sale.

satan-repented

Photography, cinematography, land surveying, rapid delivery of things besides drugs, and more... banning drones is idiotic.

Fortunately London is over 300m away from the airport.

What really bothers me about trans politics in general is this idea that people can be born into the wrong body, and that we have somehow strayed from the idea of being comfortable in our own skin. We're creating a society where it's okay to change who you are physically, to the point of using hormone blockers, cosmetic surgury (that is irreversible and can require a lifetime of ongoing care), etc, rather than raising people to be confident and comfortable and accepting of the body they were born with.

I'm talking about our physical biology not about conforming social gender, ffs.

We don't know how to deal with our problems anymore. Uncomfortable? Just change your body!

You're forgetting the third kind: professional beggers collecting money for a "pimp" or gang.

Depends on her height really

The friend is there for her safety and to try to entice you. They'll refuse to go in to the place you originally planned and try to take you to some super overpriced wine/karaoke bar. I was fortunate enough to check the place on Google maps before going inside to see reviews from other guys warning about being scammed. I've heard some stories of some guys getting blackout drunk or drugged, and then waking up with a massive bill. So I literally just walked away.

I encountered a few of them. Always the same routine. They don't have good chat and want to meet up too fast. She shows up with a pretty friend. I mean who ever brings a friend to a date? They don't want to go to a usual bar, but somewhere kinda shady and when you check the menu they're selling bottles of wine for ridiculous prices. They pretend like it's kinda random but they are going to one place in particular. They got a real surprise realizing that I understood everything they were saying to each other and was not just a clueless tourist.

Pretty sure the girls are being paid off somehow to lure you in.

Russians do have a more traditional attitude about marriage, but actually, Russia and Ukraine have some of the highest divorce rates. There is pressure to get married young from both society and family, which results in people marrying too early, and then divorcing.

I find that Russians, especially Russians from Moscow and Saint Petersburg, are more modern in their thinking than Ukrainians. But they're all still very family oriented.

If you're normal-looking you can have good success on Tinder. You'll get like 100x more matches in Moscow or Petersburg than in any Western city. You'll do even better if you can speak some Russian.

But you have to be very careful. There are a lot of dating scams over there. For example, if you show up to your date and she is waiting for you with a friend, just walk away. You need to be a lot more diligent in filtering for normal people.

I have the same issue. I love Firefox for my usual browsing around... tree style tabs and container tabs extensions are awesome.

But when I need to open dev tools and especially the source debugger I'm often going back to Chrome.

satan-repented

Exactly. Their own self-interest will always come before ours. Sometimes our interests may align for a while, but they may change their direction tomorrow. We should never allow ourselves to be reliant on any one of them for anything.

satan-repented

Correct.

I don't think this article, or the quoted passage, proves your point at all.

The Holocaust can be considered rascist because Judaism is a genetically traceable ethnicity/nationality in addition to being a culture and religion.

You've got to try a little harder than say the word incorrect, and quote a Wikipedia article. I mean come on.

I can't believe this. After centuries of humanism and fighting against the tyranny of the church, it's progressives and liberals of all people who are forcing us to be subservient to religion.

satan-repented

Religion is a personal belief. Being Muslim is not a race. This isn't racism.

satan-repented

Or zerglings.

satan-repented

Neither, obviously, it's the rooster who comes 😏

satan-repented

Ohhh Canada ;)

A greenhouse? What the actual fuck?

I have a new 15", after previously owning older 13 and 15 inch MacBooks, and I absolutely prefer the new keyboard. It's very nice to type on... I just wish it was more reliable.

satan-repented

So? Their supporters deserve fair representation.

satan-repented

To be fair, touch Id breaks down for me about the same thanks to water or even just my hands being a bit oily at the end of the day. Or after a workout.

What is that, a couple anecdotes about bad landlords? I lived and rented in Montréal for over a decade before London, and most of my friends there were renters as well. I can give you a thousand far worse anecdotes about London. Especially if we're talking about evictions, and asshole/abusive landlords.

Going from Montréal to London as a tenant has been like moving from luxury to a third world shithole, the difference is that stark.
