Same job title, very similar responsibilities. Though, my scope is much more significant. My degree and 8 years is in the field to his 1 in the field and a lower less relevant degree. I'm unsure cuz HR is literally my boss/ team

The challenge here.. I am HR. My bosses are the VP and director of HR. That makes going to HR more difficult.

My degree is in HR. My years of experience are HR. I can't find any reason for the pay disparity. This candidate is very new and will require a lot of hand holding. I think he could be good but the pay doesn't seem justified

I got a new phone so I'm locked out of my account. I used an old work email (we did challenges and I needed it connected). But now since I don't have access to the email, they are basically telling me I'm sol. There are 10 years of data, so I do not want to start over

So sorry to hear about the pending layoff. I was told that I was out at the end of the week. Many are told it's effective immediately. A month is great news to start looking. As for how to give effort, not sure, but I think it's the motivation to get your severance at the end of it
