They acknowledged that they’re looking into this feedback on the podcast they released today. This model, in fact, was referenced as well!

scottwo

Oh great Taco Bell hat, tell me of my future forever class.

scottwo

Also, you can roll need on everything except plate. It’s the perfect class!

scottwo

Not a full spec. But it seems like they’re trying to at least make enhance tanking possible in some group content.

scottwo

Also: Loom.

scottwo

Who pays for the tokens?

scottwo

What a random reference. Was it for school or something?

scottwo

FLT Academy in Woods Cross, UT.

scottwo

Trying to find my brother. Turns out he was in northern Canada.

scottwo

“Maybe the novel goes somewhere later that doesn’t work for me”

I think most of the criticism is surrounding it not really going anywhere for the vast middle 600-700 pages. But you can be your own judge of that and hope you love the rest as much as you have the start!

scottwo

I mean, technically they’re not wrong. Just most start waaaaaay after high school. 😂

scottwo

Maybe he is Taylor Swift!!?!?

I mean, have we ever seen them in a room together?

scottwo

Then you should be good! I didn’t go down to minimums on my missed, so it wasn’t a loggable approach.

Sounds like your CFII knew what they were doing.

scottwo

Oooo, I know this one! I had to redo my IFR XC because I didn’t do my first one right.

Did you do three different types of approaches? And how low did you go down on the missed approach?

scottwo

Totally doable. I just did mine in 3 months. I had a CFII who was new and hungry for hours, we flew 5 times a week, and were done in 2.5 months before waiting for the checkride. I had already done all my ground and taken my FAA exam, though. So, if you haven’t yet, I’d factor that in.

scottwo

Sheppard Air should only be used as a supplement to get higher scores on the FAA exams. Not as a replacement for learning the material.

In this instance, Sheppard would’ve had notes explaining either how the FAA wants you to do the calculations to get their weird answer, or they would call out the test for being stupid and tell you to memorize this one and move on.

scottwo

A school near me gets a week of a DPE’s time and only offers ME the previous week. So, you can’t just do it whenever, when you’re assured a checkride when they do offer it.

scottwo

There are a lot of similar posts in this sub, I would use the search feature to find them.

Also, can I just say, I’m surprised there are so many young people on Reddit. It’s nice to see that it’s not just millennials.

scottwo

Bro, go home. You’re drunk.

scottwo
scottwo

They were willing. We don’t know what their current thoughts are 4 years later.

scottwo

He’s SO famous! 😂

scottwo

KSVR only has the RNAV for 34. I’d go to KTVY or KPVU to practice ILS, etc. and then ask approach for the RNAV back into KSVR on your way home

scottwo

Noted. It’s an aviation loan at a 141 school not affiliated with a university. So, thought I’d add my data point.
