Also any Muslims here might be able to correct me but I’m pretty sure vegetarian food works too since that’s halal by default.

In high school my high school made us do volunteering and some of the time I volunteered at a food bank a few times.

It seemed like the biggest issue people were facing (at the time I was there) was less than optimal fresh food quality. The food bank needed to make sure that they got rid of the oldest stock first so some of the fruit was a little too ripe, not off but yeah not so appealing.

So I’m also gonna guess it’s made up, especially due to the username.

Although a scenario in which this could be almost close to reality would be a situation in which some of the Muslims coming in had poor English and / or strong accents and were actually getting upset about communication issues. So they might have been given stuff that wasn’t halal and were struggling to explain the issue. Which is kinda understandable.

But that’s a charitable interpretation and I’m leaning towards this didn’t actually happen.

Ah but don’t you worry I’m sure they’ll be making a nice WOPR to tie autonomous lethal weapons and nuclear warheads together like a match made in hell.
