Great post! One alternative.. Instead of a rPi, the OP can also create a Zigbee2MQTT container, and use MQTT to talk to HA... One thing is to not use snapshot backups on o the Z2M container, or the same issue will continue to happen.. It'll accomplish the same excellent suggestion without the added hardware.

I would not modify the camera. I think there's a very good chance that Light Lens Lab will be releasing B&W peel apart film in the next year or so. There are also users here that are making their own B&W peel-apart film too. I doubt we'll ever see peel apart film on Amazon again, but then again, everyone said that about Polaroid integral film a decade ago. Who knows.

I think the real lesson is to be a little more picky on who you date. 🤣

They're RGB cafe lights, model H7028. Firmware is 1.00.14. I'm using the "Govee lights local" integration for what its worth.

I'm wondering if having mine blocked for the last several years has prevented any updates that introduced this regression.

shackrat

This is the only way.

It would appear that the answer is to block your Govee devices fro the internet once they're connected to the cloud so it always forces a local connection. That's what I've done with my devices.. I haven't seen them go offline yet.

Six years in with Home Assistant and I can honestly say the UI is light years better than it was, but still has a long way to go. I would suggest Hubitat since it's a simple hub-in-a-box concept, but that system is the epitome of UI enshitifcation. That UI design that was obsolete when it came out 10 years ago and hasn't changed much since.

I do a few times a month and have managed a to achieve a few whole body dry orgasms (which feel 10x better) in the process.

A real (smart) investor wouldn't read pas the e-mail. A naive photography hobbies might wrongly see this as a way to support the hobby and maybe make some money in return. I suspect thats the target audience here.

You're going to need to consult the service manual. I found one here in a quick internet search. https://www.bildraum-f.com/wp-content/uploads/downloads/2012/12/Canon%20AE-1%20-%20Service%20and%20Repair%20Guide%20-%20ENG.pdf

It will tell you where to probe for voltage. If the meter is working, and the LED's are lighting, the your theory on corrosion could certainly be on the right track. Look on page 16 onward for guidance. You'll probably need a professional CLA done, unfortunately.

Gary Wong is at it again. Crappy financials aside, what is an investor actually investing in? Do they hold any IP (e.g. patents) or licensing/manufacturing agreements that hold value that would make this worthy of consideration? Of course not. It's a money grab to get out of debt at the expense of investors.

I wish I knew, I can honestly say I don't get the attraction or need to do that. That's usually one of the next questions after I explain that I'm bi.. Maybe it's an inferiority complex since most toys tend to be larger than life, although I tend to think of it as a control mechanism.

I have no issues with anyone using toys, but let me offer it up if I'm in the mood. It's simple... Don't demand it from me, and I'll extend the same level of respect to you. BTW.. Hope you enjoyed your special time today.. Going to have a little fun later myself.

As a man, I totally get you and agree 100%. The chats with just about all of the men I've had experience with (on other sites) almost 100% of time end with "got any toys", and often within 5 minutes or less into the session. Whenever I reply "no" they either ghost me on the session, or continue to press. Now I am upfront at the beginning, and block/end the chat as soon as the question hits. Yes, I sometimes use toys, and sometimes really enjoy anal play during masturbation, but at my discretion and desire, not theirs. At least the women I've chatted with are much more respectful in at area, and I can see why from my own experiences!

TLDR... I get it and I agree!

As someone who started out in home processing all the way back in 2019, I can second the suggestion to get a Sous Vide immersion heater. The temperature stability is extremely helpful to getting consistent results. I've done 100+ rolls of C-41 and E-6 without screwing up any too badly.

The best thing about a creampie is eating it afterward!

I like to act a bit fem. 😉

shackrat

I'm the reverse. :)

I think the neighbor is one of those Crystal Meth-odists. Too bad you don't have to pass an IQ test to vote.

shackrat

Ironic coming from the same Orange Old Man who walks all over the constitution every chance he gets.

shackrat

I remember the Nana. I almost backed that on Kickstarter until I started reading about Gary. He's a true scammer.

Not sure the 25th is appropriate here. Trump has been mentally incapacitated since his first term. Unfortunately the stupidity is a chronic disease that is spread via wearing red hats.

shackrat

Thats Trumps entire modus operandi...

  1. Create a problem.

  2. Ignore problem.

  3. Blame Biden/Dems for the problem he created.

  4. Fix the problem, but do not fix or acknowledge not the lasting damage it caused.

  5. Blame Biden for the fallout.

Unfortunately MAGAs are trapped either by their sheer stupidity, or by the sunk cost fallacy, so in either case they double down on being dumb.

shackrat

That too. I've never seen anything less than a half second lag when trying to use HomeKit, which would be terrible for a timer app, and I've also had issue with devices that just stop working. I'm fully Home Assistant now, with more than 220 Zigbee devices. HK is perfect for the average consumer with a handful of devices, but nothing more.

Those were everywhere growing up in the 70s & 80s. Cleaned much better than liquid soap too.
