In case anyone else comes across this, I had multiple webcache folders. Deleting all of them then starting the launcher resolved the issue for me. Thanks for the tip.

The steam page says singleplayer, any plans for multiplayer? My friends and I play supreme commander together against coms, so this looks like the perfect game for us.

The exploitation in Subnautica is amazing. Getting tools to go deeper and finding new biomes, overcoming fear to venture into the darkness. I love it.

My understanding of how playit.gg does multiple ports is that they are sequential. So if you set it for port 12345, and then tell it to open 3 ports, it will open 12345, 12346, and 12347. So the main thing I was trying was using launch options for the server to change what ports it's trying to use to make them sequential to try and work with playit.gg but I could never get it to work. I couldn't get the server to even start properly when I would change the ports it used. I couldn't find the server locally when I would do that. I don't know enough about everything going on to try and troubleshoot further than that, sadly.

Unfortunately I was not able to get playit.gg to work for this. I spent a long time trying different things. If someone else ever figures it out I'd love to know. But as a different workaround I used Radmin VPN. Allows you to create a kind of fake LAN so you can see the server show up in the LAN listings while connected. That's been working for my play group.

Reading through your new guide now, thank you for the work you did on this. I appreciate you making such a useful tool and guide. I'll try cleaning out this install and redoing it with the new guide and try some other port things along the way.

Well I figured out part of the server name issue! The name is being pulled from the Launch_MyWorld.ps1 file. In the start process section there is an argument for -SteamServerName that is set to 'My Icarus Server'. If I remove the spaces the name showing up in LAN changes to 'MYICARUSSERVER' instead of just 'MY.

I'm not sure why it's using that field instead of the one in the other configuration, or why it isn't reading the spaces right. I'm going to do more testing on that one.

Yes, I set it back to the default ports. And yea, using the same agent. But any time you create a tunnel for ports that aren't sequential, it creates a new address for those ports. So I can make a tunnel for 17777, then a tunnel for 27015, but each of those tunnels has a unique address. I can pay a yearly fee to have a custom address, but on the free one every tunnel has a new address.

The server name issue is strange. The SessionName is set to: Name and Name's land. But it still shows up as 'MY. I tried putting quotes around it, changing it to a different name with no apostrophe, it still shows up as 'MY. It's weird that there is a lone apostrophe at the start of it. It's the SessionName right above the join password, right?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately creating a second tunnel doesn't work as it creates a different address for the second tunnel. Trying to use either one doesn't work. As for the server name, the confg file doesn't have anything with "My" in it and the issue happens even without playit.gg running, as I can only see te server in LAN. Where is it supposed to pull the server display name from?

Thank you for this write up. I've run into some issues though. In phase 2, first run, there is no IcarusServer application. There is one back up in the Icarus Dedicated Server folder, but in the one you mentioned there is only an IcarusServer-Win64-Shipping.exe. Trying to run either of them causes nothing to happen other than a process in the background, so I'm not sure what the settings text you refer to is. I was able to manually create the saved folder tree and follow the other steps to get it working though.

The next issue is with ports. I'm trying to use playit.gg to host because of CGNAT ip, so can't pirt forward. But playit requires ports to be sequential. So I tried to change the ports in the phase 5 scrip to be 17777 and 17778. If I do that though, I can no longer see the server listed in the LAN options and I still can't find it externally. Hoping there's an easy fix for that otherwise I'll have to look into seeing up Hamachi. Lastly, when I see the server in LAN, the server name is just "My". Do you know a fix for that?

It refers to the person the card came from. So yea, the person who played the creature. Important because cards can change controllers, but never owners.

Only Dinosaur hasn't been made yet. Startropolis is waiting on a reprint to fix some model issues, but I have the very playable first run. Planet Apocalypse and Glorantha have expansions that are stuck right now, but the original ones came out years ago. 8-Bit Attack is also out and you can play it on Steam.

I get the anger towards Peterson Games, they've dug themselves a stupid hole and should be called out for it. But don't attack them with stuff that you can easily look up and see is wrong.
