The one I worked at locked up socks and underwear to stop people from destroying the packaging, and then not buying the one they opened.

Not necessarily for anti-theft. It keeps people from opening them and not buying. Happened a lot with socks and underwear at the store I used to work at.

Looking at her filmography since HP, it’s not surprising. She either needed to spend more time honing her craft, or needed to fire her agent.
