I actually stopped halfway through this gen, and only buy the ones I really really want. It’s been a great decision

I’ve had the opposite effect with it so far. I had someone craft a purple backpack and punch me until I took it. They didn’t even have a purple one either

They have to be, the helmet is nearly identical for Jegran and the helmet, wings, and torso match for Amidatelion

It is not turn based. You carry orbs for magic and it’s a cast time with a circle to show where it will hit. You can move around. It’s closer to what XII or an MMO are

There’s a lot to it. The original had fantastic music, 4 classes to choose from which also changed your race, dungeons were on a cycle so they would change as the in game years progressed, a big variety of dungeons too, plus there was coop (but you had to use gameboys as controllers IIRC)

Well the new one adds a remastered soundtrack, new skins for the existing classes AND you can earn skins of characters in game, 13 extra dungeons with harder bosses, fully voice acted, and the coop in now online multiplayer and cross platform. AND it’s only 30 bucks. It’s a gem that a lot overlooked because it wasn’t a mainline title, and I could not recommend it more

Gotcha. I haven’t had a chance to try the trial. How bad is it, I never did the original on release so I don’t have anything to compare too
