I've noticed this in lower ranks up to ritualist its pretty much all the same rank. My solo games are usually great win or lose , my team games of 4+ are usually quite horrendous 

When people get mad at me for not taking the game seriously I just rescue beam them into the enemy, so by all means be mad but if you're rude in any way I will rescue you :p

I think its fine as a way for a team to take an advantage into a victory but the old one had way more crazy plays around it
