That's not true, in most subreddits you will get banned if you go against the mainstream narrative. In fact, historically those subreddits themselves have been removed, why do you think there's so many rightwingers flooding to r/conspiracy? Censorship on Reddit does exist. The vast majority of subs are not like r/conspiracy . Aside from this, Reddit operates like an echo chamber and there's tons of astroturfing that effectively buries posts that go against the mainstream narrative, even if they may not be wrong.
