Sounds about right. It's certainly not a very heavy hitter, but the 4x weakness Garchomp has to ice and the fact that they don't expect an Ice Beam from an Audino has made it a reliable counter.

Max out Special Attack and use Ice Beam, and feed it a steady diet of Garchomps. Trick Room flips speed, skill swap+ klutz means they can't use their item and lose their ability (mega stones do not apply), and Dazzling Gleam gets STAB.

I had someone pull this on me and I couldn't help but laugh and admire it. I'd set the Perish Song and thought I had it won until they hit me with TR the last turn.

As an Audino Professor, it's so wild to me to see it become seen as such a threat. It's helped me get to Singles Masters, so I'm aware that it can be very useful but I'd liked that it felt very slept on.

Skill Swap is especially fun because sometimes you get a cool ability out of the exchange. I ran it on an Audino with Klutz for a long time and there's just something fun about a Protean Audino or taking Parental Bond from a Mega Kangaskhan (though it low key feels like kidnapping).

You see a better variety in Casuals, but there's still quite a bit of the usual suspects in there too.

Understand that I'm not trying to tell anyone how they should play the game. It's a game and you should enjoy it on your terms. Running the Pokemon and strategies that have been proven successful makes sense.. but it certainly isn't creative. That seems like a valid criticism.

Mega Absol. I've only run into a handful of other Absols and I don't think even one of them was a Mega.

It's my go to Pokemon - admittedly partly because it's my favorite. It has great speed and attack though, STAB sucker punch and knock off, and Magic Bounce.

Honestly, that's not as crazy of a fantasy as I think most people would assume. I recall hearing a while back that some studies have found like half of men and a third of women have fantasized about sharing their partner.

That said - it's totally alright to have a fantasy and it be just that. It doesn't have to lead to following through or anything and there are even ways of playing around with the idea without it going that far if you were to choose to explore it.
