Great idea... Lots of problems.
Homeless Population - Depending on location, you will end up with either a very small population or a very large one with folks migrating to this new shelter. On the low end, it wouldn't make sense to operate and maintain. On the high end, you could easily have overcrowding issues.
Local Population - I could see a lot of pushback from locals on something like this. Safety concerns, property values, tax revenue being utilized for this type of program. Not to say any of that is right, but there are reasonable concerns for folks living in and around the area.
Staffing - Not only would you need general admin and care staff, there is a high likely hood you would need some sort of security. Not only are there folks who are mentally ill, but you also do encounter some folks who try to take advantage of situations or chaos. Theft, drugs, internal fighting, possibly gangs and who knows what else could make this an extremely dangerous place, especially if you had a co-ed population and any single mothers and their kids in the mix. Also have to worry about other illegal activities like prostitution, rape, etc.
Funding - Yes the government could fund this type of stuff, but I don't trust the government much farther than I can throw them. Wouldn't be hard for funds to be misappropriated and the building be only minimally maintained until it falls apart or major improvements and government funding are needed.

Just as bad as Pokemon cards. I thought it was hilarious watching some of the reaction videos of scalpers going into Gamestop learning that they could only purchase 1 set of the newest packs just a few weeks ago.
Same goes with some of the good sellers of packs at these conventions. Certain $ if you open the cards at the sellers booth vs an inflated price if you take it home to prevent scalping. Cutting in on those profits and allowing actual fans to get reasonable deals on booster packs.

EgregiousPackaging Sub would love this

Reminds me of one of the saddest country songs I ever did hear by Trey Lewis. Def NSFW, but for the lyrics not the video, so don't listen at full blast at work.

Not to show up or anything, but a less mechanical version of this can be found on Amazon. The item mounts under a cabinet and has metal gripping teeth in a V-shape. The V allows almost any sized jar, while the teeth provide the grip on the lid.
Only downside is that you still need to use force, unlike the electric version you are showing.

Redo of healer? sure as hell ain't socially awkward, tho he is a bit weird and some bare tits and ass if you look on hanime (I think)?
snake1000234
Oh, I see then. Well, let me revise. I would definitely check out Netflix for some stuff like that.
Way of the House Husband, One Punch Man, BNA, Cells @ work, is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon, Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann, etc, etc. I think they have/had some anime movies as well.
Some of the also have English subs on some of the videos too.
And just as an aside, if you can find it Symbiotic Titan is done in a similar style to something like Samurai Jack (which is another good one to watch in general). It aired on Adult Swim until they canned it because they couldn't sale enough toys from it.
Oh, and I've got to recommend redo of healer on hanime dot tv. Most excellent show, very high quality. Watched it purely for the plot and nothing else.

On the Insert tab, there is a button called "Set Location"
Pick that, and choose from map.
It will bring up a world map and you can drop a pin at an address or know gps location, or just right click and set one on a building corner. It will then take you into another menu to pick your GIS coordinate reference system. We typically stick with our state's HARN system, so not sure what to recommend for you. You may have to change reference units on your drawing too, so map scales in properly. Have to play with it a bit, as it took us a while to figure out exactly how it works, we I still screw it up a lot.
Once you get that added in, a new "Geolocation" tab is added along with home, insert, annotate, etc. There is a drop down menu for Map Aerial, Road (google), Hybrid, or off. You can turn this off in your model space, then enter your paper space area and turn it on specifically in the view port.
We haven't had any issues with it bogging anything down, though the image isn't the best looking one. May be a way to change how well it is plotted, but we typically use it for topo, so don't print it a lot.
Also, this video is a little dated, but it shows the general process: https://youtu.be/Pd8VRZ4iUBs
Hope this helps you!

You should email the pic to [email protected]
Maybe Huggbees can tell you for sure what you have there.

Your right. Social Distancing does work, to a point. Problem is people are tired of it.
Masks might work, but people aren't using them correctly, nor are they using the correct ones. Disposable ones are getting reused constantly by people who don't know better, while masks made of certain materials are not effective as others, though they are sold as if they are ( See this write up ). I also can't imagine that people are correctly disinfecting or constantly washing their masks, making them cesspools for germs, dirt, and derbies. Again, problem is people are tired of it.
Also there is no consensus on how to handle this, as show by the varied degrees of lock downs, mandates, and other stupidity clouded by politics. People are tired of it all. Low mortality rates are letting people see a light at the end of the tunnel.
snake1000234
Man, you gotta try occasionally. Bad thing is I didn't even say anything controversial. Just said people are tired of this shit, pointed out a few truths, and I'm getting downvoted.

People are tired of this whole Covid-19 stuff.
You look at the news and see several conflicting stories, and see that the world isn't really burning down around you and think, maybe there is more to this. Death rates and infection rates seem to be lower than stated.
We also have a better understanding on how to treat the disease, on top of numerous safety measures such as constant disinfection and mandatory temperature checks.
So people get back out into the world and people have been told that masks are supposed to the the end all for safety and keeping the Covid at bay (though they aren't seeing as they don't work), so people go back to their old habits. Who needs to social distance if a mask solves all the problems and reduces infection rates so much?
People are also getting tired of getting preached at because they don't trust the people at the top who, over the last 4-5 months have changed their stories so many times its hard to say what advice we really need to listen to. First no masks, then mandatory masks. Only 15 days to stop the spread, then almost 3 months. Corporate stores requiring masks and constant disinfections, while local mom&pops continue on with life as normal, and no major issues. You can't open your store/business, but Walmart can and to steal what business you had. There are also have people who distrust the government and the doctors about the whole thing, and get openly berated when even the slightest bit of dissension or question on the validity of this process are brought up.
Its getting ridiculous and the American people have just about given up.
Edit* Knew this wouldn't get a lot of love, and looking at the number of down votes versus the number of people wanting to have a discussion about the actual issues, I'm not really surprised. If nothing else, hopefully you read and can see why people are getting tired of all this and can realize i'm not saying anything should change, I'm just point out how people are, especially after 4 or 5 months, and everything fun and enjoyable being sucked out of their lives, while the rich, the politically connected, and the rioters are allowed free reign.

I just wish people would leave all this other stuff (Mostly SJW BS) out of games.
I just want to play Overwatch and see some updates. Not have to listen to more BLM stuff that I and many others don't agree with. And as soon as you try to say anything even remotely against it, BAM! Negative Karma into oblivion. Comment Removed. Banned from the subreddit.
I just really hate people and am tired of all this garbage...

One of the youtuber's I listen to a lot, (Mr. Obvious), has been sponsered by a site called Unscilenced Voice that seems to have a similar vibe to reddit, though I'm not a fan of the color scheme and haven't used it much.
You also have Bitchute which a lot of YouTubers, especially those right leaning or who talk about controversial topics have been moving to recently.

I'm gonna have to say I'm a denier, and with decent reasoning SO BRING ON ALL THOSE DOWN VOTES!
The idea that 97% of scientists agree with the idea that man is causing global warming is completely false number that was brought about by some poorly done research. (see below links or google search some others.)
As far as temperature information, a majority of the older data isn't very accurate or useful, and some of the more current data is easily skewed by either biased reporting or data collection from places such as cities where heat tends to get trapped and can affect data (Nice black asphalt radiates off that heat it collects through the day and can cause issues with data sets at certain spots. Buildings help to cut off wind and areas can become stagnant too).
We also have these climate change enthusiasts who have been complaining about the same issues for the past 40+ years all while putting a random point of no return date that is updated every few years. Its almost like the crazy people holding a sign on the side of the road claiming that we are damned to hell for our sins and god is coming Dec 21 2012 to eradicate us all, but they have degrees and read some possibly biased research on the stuff and a large number of people take their word as gospel. Some day they might be right, but no one can look into the future and say when the world is gonna end, especially with the immense amount of human ingenuity that changes the course of history on a daily basis. Who knows what will be invented tomorrow and will save/kill us all.
You also look back at the many different, cool, warm, freezing, and extremely hot/dry periods we have had. These periods are know thanks to geological data that shows the earth goes through different cycles, well before humans added near as much CO2 into the atmosphere. We are a big rock floating through space around a fiery ball of elements that plays a large role in determining the daily forecast. Close and its warmer, far and its colder.
Also CO2 isn't that bad for the earth. CO is pretty damn bad off, but CO2 is plant food. And CO levels are reduced thanks to the use of catalytic converters in engines and CO2 levels have to be rather high to cause major issues.
There are so many things that some of the scientists take into some of their research that helps create inaccurate findings and information, and like some news stories of the time, everyone is will and ready to read the first article that comes out, but come to find out it might be wrong? Make a quick edit to the original article and people who have already read the thing won't glance back and will continue forward with the incorrect information. And some choose to fight tooth and nail to say that any new information that is provided is incorrect because original research says so.
And whats worse, is that real issues go unresolved because of petty shit like this. So, you know what? I might be wrong, as I haven't done in depth research into everything because thats not my job, but if I had to guess, America with all of our rules and regulations on so much probably isn't near as bad a contributor to some of the so called climate change's major factors. Especially when you consider the smog filled cities in China, the rivers of trash in India, or the improper disposal of trash and chemicals of some 3rd world countries that burned or heaped into whatever hole can be found with no care who what might leak or leech into food and water supplies.
So... OP there might not have explained it well enough. The point is that America is supposed to be a melting pot. The problem is that some groups come in and instead of assimilating and bringing the best of their culture to integrate with the area they move into, they are instead isolating themselves in little pockets around the country.
So they build a community that mirrors their homeland while being a bit hostile/unaccepting towards the idea of our melting pot with their new community and instead just clump together with their own people.
And that isn't a bad thing per say as you do get some ethnically centered areas that support the people and accept the community they grow into, BUT, some of these clumps do the opposite and bring in all of their culture and enforce it on the people living there.
Some pockets of Chinese citizens unfortunately have Chinese police forces that actively patrol and monitor those citizens and enforce laws from the Chinese mainland (on US soil).
Some pockets of Muslims try to make locals and businesses follow their laws and cultures such as stopping businesses from selling alcohol. If I really wanted to get into it, you also have the Texas town where a Muslim community is trying to install speakers so their prayer can be heard across the town at the times of day necessary, starting early in the morning when some folks hope for peace and quiet.
I'm sure there are a thousand other better and worse examples, however it would take all day to even scratch the surface.
