He's shown to be a very slow learner with no ability other than straight martial arts. He's the poster boy for "hard worker" vs neiji the innate prodigy with bloodline advantage.

Of course he's talented in the sense that he's super strong and the he rocks, but his whole shtick was his comparison to his privileged and intuitive teammate

Everyone was a hard worker-ish.... He was shown as a hard worker, but he was also shown as a way more intuitive and fast learner at the start. And as I said, the show tried more to sgow the difference between the haves and have not. People who come from nothing (suposedly) like Naruto vs people who come from established clans with innate techniques like Sasuke and Neiji.

Its not ONLY about that, but i do think it was a pretty strong theme at the start. Hard work can overcome genetics. Everybody can be a hero type stuff. It's main rivalries were with Sasuke and Neiji, two "blessed" clans and he was "an orphan". The other character he mainly identifies with is Rock Lee, a true talentless character.

And the manga truly did undermine that message when it turns out that he can harvest a nuclear power plant in his belly, that he has the specialest dad and the specialest mom and actually he is the reincarnated son of the moon goddess. Its alright, most other shonen mangas have their character turn out to be the "fated one" eventually to justify some storyline or just their power, but Naruto started with a strong nature vs nurture theme undeniably.

I mean.... It kinda is a series like that.... I prefer it when the vilain getz blitzed and everyone truly contributes, but the end of every bleach arcs kinda ends up as the ichigo show.

I mean.... When you've been impoverished for 120 years by paying off a bullshit debt, things don't just turn around when its done. You are terribly poor, your ressources have been extracted, civil unrest has been brewing. You have a couple big strikes against you before you can really start.

And the DR has let foreign investisment get a hold of it.... It looks to be wealthy, In some ways it is, but it is also not exactly a wealth that is "theirs" to say. They are propped up by resort tourism wich actually make the place look, in a dark ironic kinda way, very colonial.

Worldbuilding claim is pretty wild lol. OP has always been known for its pretty solid worldbuilding and it has had 1200 chapters to build on it.

I think kagurabachi's worldbuilding is probably one of it's weakest point. I think everything in KB is only pretty good to alright though. Neither the characters or the setting is exactly fleshed out or original. Its veeeery shoneny. Its pretty goos still. Some cool character designs. Some sick panels. I read it every week. Its neat.

Yeah i dunno. I kinda love the "dooming the world to save the one i love trope". I think it's highly romantic. Even going so far as being so selfish as to make a decision that the one you so deeply care for would disagree with. Im sorry that you are some logical placid machine. That must suck.
