Yeah it’s a city name, you can probably still see it if you enhance the brightness 💀 I just put it in as an extra measure so as not to put a business on blast, regardless of their odd advertising.

I’m not attending this event. I’m not asking for advice. I asked if anyone else ever got a bit confused by messages like this, where it says “everyone is welcome,” but then specify a gender (usually women.) That’s all :)

To be fair, it would still be creepy if you were to ask someone if they were biologically female.

The way I understand it: saying biological female doesn’t have to mean BORN with a vagina. Everyone is biological, including trans people. If a trans woman has a vagina, and a trans man has a penis, and a nonbinary person has whatever they want, they are a biological female, male, and person. For me personally I would still consider a pre-op trans person a biological [desired sex] but maybe that’s just me.

A biological woman cannot exclusively be someone with a uterus and/or who can carry children because not all babies who are assigned female at birth have a uterus, or can carry children. It’s a meaningless term.

And chromosomes don’t matter in this equation — most people don’t even know what chromosomes they have. It’s not a black and white answer.
