Would also love a code.

Frankly, I don’t really see the point of judging this sampler based on bottle price. There’s no world in which I would buy bottles of all these in a single year, especially when I had never tried the vast majority of them. There’s also no world in which I’d expect to get a sample of each for exactly the fractional price of that sample size. Frankly, I’m getting 24 samples of mostly unfamiliar whiskeys, most of which I end up at least enjoying, and a couple of which I'll end up really liking/loving. Is that worth the price to me? That’s the one & only question I have to ask, and every year so far the answer has been yes.

Still, it would be even more worth it with a $10 discount code. 😁

Right but they're also describing that as not being a markup, which it absolutely is. It's just a default/expected markup. (I guess? I rarely drink in bars.)

Salozzo says he wants Michael to understand that what happened with his father was just business. He says that he has a lot of respect for Don Corleone, but that that he (Corleone) is stuck in the past. Salozzo says he (himself) should have been recognized as a man of honor. Michael says “I know this” (his Italian seems pretty flimsy), and Salozzo says “Do you?” Salozzo says that he thinks there’s an agreement to be made with Tattaglia, and that moment when he gets real forceful, he’s saying “I want peace.” Then he says something I can’t parse. Michael starts to say “What I want...” in Italian, and that’s when he shifts over to English.

Your assumption, like many other assumptions, is wrong.

Have you not seen the video of one sheriff bragging that it's "Big Brother on steroids"? These people do not read, much less think critically.

spoko

I seriously may do that—thanks for the reco.

Yeah, I'm not looking for people to rationalize me blowing the restaurant off. It's more that I've been to some places where they have a dress code, and I end up sat next to some yutz in sweats & a ball cap. Which, OK, it's your restaurant; you can decide how seriously to take your own code. But I just, since I haven't been to Dooky's, wondered if it was like that or more something they took for real. Seems they do, so for this particular situation, I don't think it will work for us. I just didn't want to pass it up if I was taking things more seriously than I needed to.

spoko

I was raised never to wear a hat inside, much less while eating, so I've never really understood people who do that.

spoko

I mean I'm asking here because I do have some respect.

spoko

OK, well, that sounds interesting.

spoko

Got it, thanks!

From one heathen to another, thanks!

One slight note: A CPAP is a medical device, so you can always take it in addition to whatever "personal items" the airline allows for carry-on. Within the US, at least, the airlines are required to allow it without counting it. I travel with my AirSense 11 fairly often—including to Europe several times—and never had a problem with it. Not saying the AirMini isn't more *convenient*—that's why I'm reading this thread. But as far as what's allowed, that's not a concern.

spoko

That's just bizarre.

That I don’t know. I use it for my audiobook library, and it seems to work fine for that. But for music I use Plex Music. I set both up quite a while ago, so I can’t even remember if there was a specific reason that I used the two different scanners.

spoko

I have my Scanner set to "Plex Music" (not "Plex Music Scanner"), and Agent set to "Plex Music," and it's working. Have you tried that combination?

Take a better look at the image. Kansas City's development is also very lopsided to one side of the state border. Remember that the border isn't at the river there.

spoko

It is funny how people act like political borders don't matter, as though urban development weren't an inherently political exercise.

spoko

Thank you! I knew it would be something simple like that, but hadn't managed to find it anywhere. That fixed it immediately.

spoko

No. I have Allo fiber, and the machines (including the server) all pull local 192.168.1.x addresses from that. I do have static IPs set for them, but that's it.

Did you read my post?
