Do I honestly think you’re significantly doing so? No, not really.

Have I in my 15+ years of being a floor seen fights break out or have to field complaints due to someone saying something seemingly innocent? Yep- too many times.

Have I seen people try to rationalize that input like that cause them to lose the hand or lose value for whatever reason they can come up with and try to get the interfering player removed?

Also yes. You’d be amazed at what someone who just lost their umpteenth hand and then some will come up with to try and recoup that loss. It usually just amounts to some harsh words but do you really want to potentially deal with all that because you felt as though you needed to let everyone know that they can run it twice?

I’m honestly surprised nobody at the place you play hasn’t said anything to you about it yet.

Best practice is to just stay out of it. If you’re not in the hand don’t say shit.

Like another poster said- make a list of all the things you want to do for your birthday and someday- check them all off.

It’s hard right now because you’re young, you don’t have money, you don’t have the freedoms that an adult would have.

For what it’s worth. I’m going to be 47 this year and I’ve spent the last several birthdays by myself. Took the day off work- sat home with my dogs, and played video games.

It’s not that I don’t love my family (I have a long term Gf and a grown up son- plenty of friends) It’s simply what I wanted to do on the one day I feel like I deserve to be selfish on every year.

Just an amazing city, and the athletes who represent it embody that.

I know very few people who are happily married.

Same- when I was first learning how to “heel toe” I was like… “this ain’t gonna ever happen”

Then I realized my damn feet are so big I can more or less be braking with half my foot and with practice, rev match with the other side of it and maintain correct brake pressure.

That said-

I don’t do it all the time, and when coming to a stop I just put it in neutral and coast.

I can’t echo this sentiment enough.

I’ve been at the same job for longer than I’d care to admit. Everytime a promotion became available the job was eliminated and the workload spread among those of us in the middle.

Now I’m too well compensated to easily leave, which is nice, but my potential will never be realized if I don’t.

It’s a me problem. Don’t let it become a you problem ;)

I did an outfront build on my 2018 a few years ago and now the car is 8 years old, trunk is rusted out, random shit needs replaced all the time.
