TLDR. As a modern feminist man i learned all the skills that women complain men do’t do ( most because i am living alone since i was 15) cook, clean, iron, etc but my wife did not learn to wire plugs, mount lights, mount led banda, repair walls, do ciment, plumbings, mount furniture, adjust furniture, etc so whom does not want to evolve?

aren’t there things to fix things in the house, things to improve, to mount, to redecorate… anything?

i am married to my wife for 12 years and we changed the house at every 3 or 4 years. Now we are at the 4th house since we known each other… boy i have to constant fix or mount something, ever since i met her our first project was for me to redecorate her balcony, she found a worker but i had to buy and lift with my car the bags of ciment,

we always fought on who work more on the household, she insisted she was used as a maid, meantime with every house move the handyman job got more and more complex, in the meantime i learned to cook, cleaning was not an option as i had an ocd since forever on cleanness and i always did my laundry, i tried to learn the kids to be proactive and do these things also

but with all the real construction household i am the one that feel overworked by her and her constant needs and dreams and adhd… and now i point her that she does not want to evolve, learn, be an electrician to mount al the fancy lights she wants, be an installer to mount all the fancy appliances / plumbings she wants

all these while i still have to be an engineer at work and provide all these money to buy all these houses …

i do let her clean and do the laundry to balance the work in the house

( as i said, i can do them myself but she can’t do my job in the house and i only have 24h a day and a lot lot of things need to be done … so new each of us do their part based on their skill )
