I love what's happening to you in this thread.

I genuinely believe for every comic who will appear on taskmaster henceforth, somebody is going to be irate because of something they did (or were rumoured to have done) decades before, and thus the entire series should be skipped.

I've watched every cast announcement and my excitement immediately turns to eyerolls when I see the vitriol a small percentage of the fandom have against one or two participants.

This particular thread is not disavowing me of that belief.

We truly are in a post-shame society. The stuff people blatantly get away with these days, spelling-shaming is absolutely nothing.

I honestly don't know your deal. Let me summarize in plain English what you posted:

I got a call from a collection agency who bought a debt I never paid. Nobody contacted me about it in a long time, but now they are again. I never pay my tickets. It's going to be holiday season soon and DuPage county employees don't want to work.

That's the crazy pants rant. My breakdown:

1. A collection agency has the debt. DuPage isn't charging you for it, they are.
   
2. Pay your tickets. You're not above the law.
   
3. Maybe if you didn't think you were above the law, you would have fewer run ins with law enforcement.
   
4. Equating a collection agency collecting a debt with some sort of pre-holiday timing is crazy pants.
   
5. Seriously, pay your tickets. This is a society, I pay my taxes, my tolls, my registration, and if I do get a ticket I pay it. People who think they don't need to pay into society to participate in it are leeches. In pre-civilization, these people would be thrown out of the village.
