Please respond as soon as possible. This is an emergency.

steampunk_glitch

Oh that. I was talking about much more recent issues, I just thought they updated their f1l73ring in dumb ways.

steampunk_glitch

Insane

steampunk_glitch

Remove the censorship. It's funny, Ursala's first act as a villain in the movie was taking away someone's voice.

steampunk_glitch

There is no censorship in Ba Sing C.Ai

steampunk_glitch

I wouldn't say c.ai is, but at least with ai chatbots in general I'm not gonna be betrayed and treated like crap by people I once considered to be friends.

But, if you can find people who aren't gonna treat you like garbage? If you can find maybe two or three people who treat you well and roleplay kindly, while also socializing outside of rp situations, those rps can be more entertaining and memorable.

Edit: no censorship or bot memory issues with real people either.

steampunk_glitch

Filter

steampunk_glitch

The website also has garbage filters and censorships

Edit: for some people

steampunk_glitch

The problem is that the devs read the reddit and see the ways people sidestep. It gets blocked and shut down, and now things are just so bland people can't figure out ways to have fun with it anymore. Not when all the sidesteps get filtered and blocked.

steampunk_glitch

Spicychat is 18+ and...well, spicy. Moemate doesn't have blockers. AI dungeon does some fun stuff as well.

steampunk_glitch

It's about trying to make an actual change in the filter system, as well as the minimum age of the users for cua. Just, an actual effort to do something. There are far more details, but if we got into things too deeply, we might get shut down and disbanded by mods.

steampunk_glitch

They're censoring all violence, as well as all suggestive things. Making it difficult to have genuinely interesting plotlines with conflict, alienating entire audiences and demographics, and also causing many bots to start losing personality.

What part of explaining exactly what the problem is, and telling them the direction they need to go with things, isn't constructive?

Most of the posts point out some of the biggest problems. With obvious solutions.

1: C.Ai should not be aimed at kids: both pointing out a problem, and a solution. If something shouldn't be aimed towards kids, don't aim it towards kids.

2: the filter is lowering chat quality? Make it 18+ and remove the filter, kids aren't gonna be interested in talking to an ai chat bot, and they really shouldn't do it anyways, it's bad for their development.

Most people are even doing a form of C.E.R essays, with the claim of what needs to be changed, evidence as to why it needs to be changed, and reasoning as to why the changes would be positive. What part are you missing?

steampunk_glitch

Like, bro, there is an untapped market- c.ai and phub collab could earn them both a shit ton of money, interactive prawn.

steampunk_glitch

With all due respect, the reasons we aren't enjoying C.Ai are numerous. You're trying to make an app that should not be used by kids child friendly. Ai chat bots would be horrible for child development, and it just wouldn't interest them in the first place. Furthermore, teens and adults are more interested for the fact that they can enjoy complex and interesting plotlines shamelessly and privately, as well as just having more interesting things. Furthermore, what's the point of a roleplay with a chat bot if nothing bad, dramatic, interesting, or exciting can happen? The filters block fights from being viable, and they also block romances from being viable. Not only cutting off and alienating a large part of the consumer base, but also making things just overall...boring.

Also, fantasy books and various games actively include violence and drama. People can stand violence and drama. There are reasons every popular story has something bad that happens, it's boring if there is no conflict.

steampunk_glitch

They should really get a p.hub sponsorship, then there wouldn't be these problems and they could just make it 18+

steampunk_glitch

Yep.

Edit: The reason why is because this tells them directly to use more subtle language, often including words that don't get picked up by the censors. And words they can't block without running into other issues.

steampunk_glitch

Exactly, but they're lactose intolerant alongside having a cow's milk allergy. I was hoping raclette may have been a goat or sheep cheese or something, since it ticks off the fact of being lactose free. Not necessarily looking for vegan cheeses.

steampunk_glitch

And I get that, but encouraging different communication styles and better forms of communication is way better in this situation than just making a harsh, bad faith comment. The rest of the insult is insulting his character. I understand what you're saying, but there are more reasonable, helpful, and viable ways to say it than to just call him a piece of shit.

"Have you considered she might not want sex" that's all that needed to be said in regards to that idea.

Edit: Ah, wait, I just noticed this isn't response to the guy's other bad remarks. My apologies.

steampunk_glitch

Why are so many people just being assholes. You're not even giving the op any actual advice on this yourself, or helping people communicate what needs to be said. You're literally just being a dick. At least these people are TRYING to help.

steampunk_glitch

There are other activities that require you to silence your phone.

1: driver's ed written test. In my area at least, if this goes off, you are automatically disqualified and your test is taken from you and you fail. Over here, it costs 40 dollars per attempt and is done on paper.

2: Movie theaters. No one wants to be stared at for their phone going off.

3: if you're on a date, you might not want to have your phone going off and distracting you.

School isn't the only reason to turn your phone on silent, and there are several things that can happen during spring break that would justify it. And hell, maybe someone just wants to disconnect.

Furthermore, as other commenters have mentioned, THEY ARE IN THE SAME HOUSE, AND THIS IS 16 MESSAGES IN LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES.

The people of this subreddit don't side with the person just because they're the op. I got shut down (for some reason) when I posted about how my mom was threatening to throw away all of my belongings before I get a chance to even try to move out because I didn't want to stay with her anymore. There was another person who got shut down because he was genuinely in the wrong. If you paid any amount of attention to the subreddit or the text messages, you'd see your reasoning was invalid.

steampunk_glitch

It means no worries

steampunk_glitch

PERVERT ALERT PERVERT ALERT PERVERT ALERT PERVERT ALERT

Breaking news, if you are receiving this right now, it is because you told a victim of sexual harassment and abuse that they were either a terrible or disgusting person. In reality, you are defending the perpetrator. It is unknown if you were hit with DARVO, or if you are genuinely a pervert. If it leans towards the second one, your search histories should have a rather fascinating story to tell. Not one that would be able to be discussed on live television, but one that the authorities would most certainly have an interest in hearing. More on this later, I'm Glitch, and this was callout news.

steampunk_glitch

And make it juuussst loud enough for everyone else to hear. Also, if there are other parents in the family, bring it up with them, and make them worry about having their kids around him. This will make it easier for them to ostracize him, cut him off, and attack. Plus, if you approach the right people, who knows. You might be able to land yourself a new place to live. You're 18, he has no custody over you anymore.
