I don’t have any other grub digs anywhere but he wanted something that was in there.

Hahaha it’s a big hole to nowhere. It weirded me out. I did not like sticking my hand in to see if it went anywhere.

Lotsa legacy legwork in his WSJ editorial this week—it’s very critical of Trump on Ukraine and even calls Kushner and Witkof “amateurs.” I was surprised to see it.
Ofc he didn’t write it lol.

The other areas where it’s subsided were gentle dips that I smoothed with topsoil. Not a kettlebell sized discreet hole. Still don’t understand how the soil ended up on top of the grass if it’s a sinkhole.

This is what I do. I add a weightlifting activity then upload the screenshots with a name like October Day 1. Sometimes Whoop asks me to substitute but that’s fine as my progress is tracked in the other app. I just use the Strength Trainer to reflect the effort from lifting and also bc it’s one of the keys to Healthspan.
Entering the workout after also allows me to see how it affects strain. It’ll adjust the strain after you add the activity.

+1. I keep the free version for some of its capture benefits (web clipper and camera) but have moved all my notes elsewhere. Way too expensive.

My good deed for the week :)

Nope. I just said check the whoop subreddit. It was flagged bc I’m a first poster there and bc it “needs staff review” which would take al of 2 seconds.
sullimareddit
I replied to his post to come here.
Edit: whoop is hiding my post. FFS

Wow the quilting is insane.

To add on to this comment, I just saw a study reviewed where people who did resistance training lost less/added muscle even at lower protein. Protein alone (without training) did not retain muscle. Key is resistance training.

The genius move to me is to keep Evernote basic to have access to web clipper and camera scan on my phone, and move things in batches to UpNote to keep it under the limit.

Open to air overnight in frig helps. After drying with a paper towel. Then I start mine skin down in a cold skillet (ideally cast iron) and brown the skin before moving to oven in same pan. Doesn’t work for mass meal prep though—guess you can batch the browning.

Headed to take a look now! Sounds amazing, thanks

From the USGA FAQ page: Posting Scores
Q. I would like to play from a set of tees that are not rated for my gender. How can I post a score?
A. If the tees you would like to play are between 100 and 300 yards (50-150 yards for 9 holes) longer or shorter than the nearest rated set of tees for your gender, the Handicap Committee at your club must consult with the local Allied Golf Association to utilize the table found in Appendix G of the Rules of Handicapping to provide a temporary Course Rating™ and Slope Rating™.
For differences under 100 yards (50 for 9 holes), no adjustment is necessary and scores can be submitted as usual. If the difference in yardage is greater than 300 (150 for 9 holes), your golf club must contact the Allied Golf Association for assistance. (Appendix G, Rules of Handicapping)

I’m not sure what you mean “technically rated“? This process is done by the local AGA. The course is or is not a member and pays a fee accordingly. They measure the entire course and then only calculate tees for men and women. Generally speaking, it’s true that women do not hit as far as men so of course the tees are are gonna be rated by gender. It seems to me the easiest thing to do is to call your AGA and ask this question about the course you want more ratings for for women. This is not a patriarchal society oppressing us. It’s just a reality that most women don’t play back tees.
Edit: a word
sullimareddit
AI tells me that the local AGA handles rating/sloping for the USGA. Fees depends on whether the course is a member and a bunch of factors including number of tees.
So it’s probably a cost thing. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I’m more interested in how they keep tax exempt status while speaking politically. Oh, right—laws like this aren’t being enforced.
I’m not touching that. Any of it
