Also your statement is just objectively false. There was a massive amount of negativity around the test they ran last summer to the point that they delayed the game.

Fuck man, I don’t want the game to be bad but I am just skeptical of a release with such a publicly troubled history. The reaction to my skepticism is some alt history nonsense.

I don’t know, man. I’m pretty skeptical. Arc had multiple non-NDA play tests and got everyone excited for it, whereas Marathon has NDAs and the last big play tests that they involved press and big Youtubers got pretty middling reactions, so much so that Bungie delayed the launch. I have heard there is another test but I haven't seen people playing it on Youtube or press covering it. Bungie kind of has something to prove here.

I will be honest even if it risks downvotes, I thought It Takes Two was highly overrated. My wife and I played it for a bit and both got bored with it. Felt it was a glorified collection of shallow minigames wrapped in a cloying tone deaf narrative.

Would love to hear thoughts on this one from other folks who were less enamored with It Takes Two.
