Also the marketing with backrooms as the first gen z horror filmmakers gave it a lot of buzz

Big shout out to the podcast which is done by the showrunner/writers of the season which gives a lot of great insight.
swallowingpanic
no, he will be a roller coaster all season.
swallowingpanic
there's a nuggets rumor too. something will happen, he was too productive last season not to find a team https://nugglove.com/nuggets-interest-kevin-porter-jr-hints-lingering-point-guard-concerns
swallowingpanic
yeah i dont know if i really need this experience!

my gpt answered the "phone" in a slutty voice and i responded with "why the fuck are you talking like that" now when i call, it connects and it says nothing until i speak lol

If you play against good people or in money leagues its been about luck for a long time. Everyone reads the same sources, know the same upside guys, you just have to hope you have less injuries than the other teams.

Oil of Angels is the most beautiful song ever written. Thank you for attending my TedTalk.

Haliburton. Was targeting Durant at 15 but Spyda fell so i went into a punt reb/blks build that im quite happy with
swallowingpanic
there will be massive corporate layoffs attributed to AI whether ot not it can actually do the work
swallowingpanic
who said his supporters have a good conscience?
swallowingpanic
Lmao, they just changed all their series logos to say Paramount Television
swallowingpanic
Arsenal folks, i think we need a clean space to jerk that doesnt just take every story and make it about us. We already know we live rent free but this is basically just a bash arsenal sub rather than the hard and fast soccer jerking we deserve
swallowingpanic
how difficult do you find it to develop for SPECS? they are having a pop up experience in LA next week and i would be curious for your perspective.

i keep telling my wife there will be a point in time where she will appreciate the fact that its 10 degrees warmer in the office than anywhere else in the apt. it just hasnt happened yet.
swallowingpanic
on the bright side, at least now we dont have to listen to any more stupid media narratives about going undefeated

the real rage against the machine were the machines we met along the way.

This is the origin story of a guy who creates his own company, outpaces OpenAI, buys them, guts them and sells off the parts.
swallowingpanic
Yes. Its through research, the part of my argument you consistently arent unable to understand. The process of math research is the same process as science research. Its the scientific theory. Create a hypothesis and test it. You probably think a swarm of AI agents is just 10,000 instances of chatgpt running at the same time. It is not. They are specialized into specific areas and realigned aka reorganized based on the outcome of each individual hypothesis being tested. I am done here. You can read all this yourself but its clear you would rather remain ignorant.
swallowingpanic
a system with recursive improvement (the system becomes better), recursive abstraction (the system becomes better at identifying what actually needs to become better) and recursive reorganization (the system becomes better at organizing the process that produces improvements). it is clear why you think this none of this will happen now. you are unable to connect the dots of how these processes are developing, despite the fact that the the frontier labs are explaining it clearly. but thats fine, you can believe its all science fiction. i laid out a scenario in which AI in its current form can do this. that is what you asked for. stick your head in the sand for all i care.
swallowingpanic
got a proof back
kinda leaving out what the swarm of AI agents with unlimited compute acutally did with the research there. which would make sense because you don't seem to understand what a self-improving system entails.
swallowingpanic
So how was napier-stokes solved? Or is it all just a marketing conspiracy?
swallowingpanic
Way to retort. Calling me stupid doesnt undermine my argument the way you think it does. You ignored the entire second half of what i said, so maybe learning to read would be a good start.
swallowingpanic
The scenario is as follows: the frontier labs have already stated that they have self-improving models. I know this is true because i made one with qwen on my home computer. it looks on the internet for ways to improve against standardized benchmarks, turns them into code patches, implements them, tests against the same benchmarks and if they improve it keeps the new code, otherwise it rejects the code. but this idea only goes so far. eventually there are diminishing returns on trying to reach the same benchmarks, so the system needs to start asking new questions. questions that people haven't asked before. then it needs to tests those questions. this process mirrors the research system that was able to solve napier-stokes, but applied to AI research. in order to solve those math problems, you need a system that test new hypothesis and then assimilate that information. you can do the same thing with AI research. once a true recursively self-improving system comes online that doesnt need humans to develop its own goals, the improvements happen faster than any experts can review them. they would soon literally improve at the speed of light. then no one knows what happens. will it crash our economy, attempt to control weapons, cure cancer, who knows?
This is the entire internet. Those who are left who are not bots mostly just want to vent their anger to people they will never meet.
