I bought my last car way at the bottom of the depreciation cycle. Have had it for nearly a year. Got an offer for it for more than I paid for it 🤷‍♂️

That being said I survived a heart transplant and being sick for 5 years. That stupid car is way more than a stupid car to me. It was a promise to myself while being very close to death.

When I bought a Jimny, I thought nothing off it. That allowed me to meet my business partner, get sponsored trips/ car parts and start a business.

Could I have got a loan for a house and still be paying for it? And literally be able to afford to do nothing else. Probably not cause I can’t afford anything nice in CPT 🤣

I have 2 cars both bought cash but it is my hobby & business now.

I once had to drive to the hospital in a medical emergency and I had a car blocking me thinking there were doing the world a service. I had my hazards on and was doing 100km/h in an 80km zone.

"Under control" is such an open term, I mean a persons Pitbull is under control until it kills a child. But my dog is not under control at a park (where it is an of lead dog zone), when an "intellectual" leaves food on the floor unattended.
