technopaw

Yea same here and sadly it looked out of stock everywhere I looked

Up to you if you want to give this a try. But I always recommend opening a ticket with Bambu’s support team https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLabH2C/s/Mv5qN9zVPG

Here to toss in my experience. So I went the support route and I know have a fully working printer after swapping the ap board, MC board and MC -> AP board cable. The only thing that fixed it was by shorting out two pins on the ap board then reverting my firmware to 01.01.05.00. This fix only works if the AP board has a solid green light. I am about 1 week back into printing and have turned the printer off many times as that is what seems to trigger the issue. I have also added about another 72 hours of print time to the printer as well. Either way I would go about getting a ticket in with Bambu Support so that way you add to their tickets so they can hopefully fix this in the next firmware release. I also would't feel comfortable shorting a board unless their. support tells me to as well.

Quote from Bambu Support. "Additionally, since your original mainboard can power its indicator lights but the flashing signal is abnormal, you may attempt to short the pins indicated in the image below using tweezers or a short wire while the printer is powered."

I am very interested in this. I'll go and toss my interest on the github post as well. I have just set it up and moved away from ntfy to this and the live activities is so nice to have back.

I just got the same email as well tried to short it out and now my printer seems to be working. This fix seems to only work though if your AP board has one solid green light on. If you have no lights on your AP board like one of my replacements the died it doesn’t seem like it works.

That is so weird. I wish my H2C was working so I could test that but my A1 Mini definitely doesn’t have a button there. I saw your comment about submitting feedback and I have done so. Thank you so much for being responsive and answering my questions

Nope. I was talking about just a button to take me to the camera feed. It is possible I just missed it but I thought I had tried clicking on all the buttons in the app.

technopaw

Looks good so far. Logged in no issues and first thoughts are that I really like the interface. Yes there is some functionality missing that you don’t have on the web app but it has everything that I would want to do on my phone and is laid out in a much better way for mobile devices. I can manage my print queue view the archives and print history. The initial print printer page looks great as well. The one thing I am not seeing is a camera view. Looking forward to putting it through its paces

I wish my printer would recover like that. I just tried a similar process again and no signs of life from the AP board. Bambu support told me they are sending my case to the engineering team.

technopaw

I don't like seeing this. So far we are now up to 3 H2C's all with seemingly the same issue. Checkout this guide for AP board normal lights and see what you AP board looks like. Also open a ticket with Bambu support. Other 2 reddit posts with similar issues.

Ugh. H2C won’t boot : r/BambuLabH2C

Welcome to the club my friend. I am still going through the warranty process on my end. What you are describing sounds almost word for word what happened to mine. Unfortunately the replacement AP board died during the 2 hr calibration so I might have something else going on as well. In response to u/luksfuks I was running 01.02.00.00 both times the AP board died. The replacement AP board was running great on firmware 00.00.00.00 but I updated then ran the calibration and once I heard the I’m done chime another AP board gone.

technopaw

When I have some time tomorrow I'll take a look at the wiring thanks for the suggestion. I have found that the more I can do while waiting for them to respond the faster the warranty process seems to go.

technopaw

Yea I kind of wish I had done that when I purchased mine from Best Buy. But Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.

technopaw

I hope it goes well. Good luck.

technopaw

Ouch I count myself lucky then that the 2 AMS 2 Pros and 2 AMS HTs have been working so far. Good luck on your endeavors.

technopaw

Absolutely Amazing. I just installed it on my LeGo 2 running cachyOS. Colors look great and I love having the built-in brightness slider working.

technopaw

It’s nice to see and know that I am not alone. I just recently switched to the Splatoon sounds as the Legend of Zelda sounds stopped waking me up.

technopaw

I have. The magnetic rail part had cracked and wouldn’t hold solid against the switch. I hadn’t gotten rid of the original switch rail parts so I swapped back to them.

technopaw

Right there with you. Today was my first time using it as I normally have been drying with the AMS HT, but that hissing sound is so obnoxious. It also gets pretty hot but nothing that I can hold in my hand indefinitely.

technopaw

OMG the download link now works I was able to download and install and use it. The only difference that I am seeing is instead of a onetime charge thing it now has a yearly or monthly subscription to get full access to the app.
