no, it doesn't. and it has nothing to do with chlorine, I use RO water btw. salt should be used by the total weight of the medium, not the produce itself. the purpose is to control the fermentation and what survives it, not how much salt you ingest in the end. boiling the brine is for purging any bad fungi and bacteria from the outer surface, you pour the almost boiling brine on the cabbage before sealing. the good stuff will thrive in this sealed environment at the end. less salt, more taste.

There's so much that doesn't add up overall with the phenomenon and I think they're not aliens at all. Reality may be way more sinister than we'd expect. I suggest you read some of Jacques Vallee's books. There will be no disclosure ever IMHO, because if they know what's all about it will indeed shatter the current system, or, the more plausible explanation is that they know nothing for real. They may have recovered craft and bodies, but that means nothing in a reality manipulation framework like the phenomena. This shift in the way it shows to us has evolved over millennia, based on our understanding back then. In the 19 century the ufo's had propellers for example. Back then we couldn't imagine another way except for wheels, but wheels won't make you fly.
