i looked into that, but a 1522264-00-B is $100 by itself, plus the harness adapter. Just wasnt worth it when i could get a 20w x 2 USB-PD from a 12v adapter from amazon was $4.99

Was really simple with Tesla Insurance and going thru Mobile Service. Made the claim on the app, which directed me to setup a mobile service appointment. Took first available which was 2 weeks out. Got a text a couple hours later offering a next day appointment. They came out, had it done in a little over an hour, $500 deductible later its fine.

Cost was $500 for the glass, $500 labor, minus the deducitble. 50% parts discount using Tesla Insurance or it would have been $1k for the glass

Get a CRT. At least hitting that glass will really make you regret hitting it and consider talking to someone if you let it get that bad.

I wish the guage cluster could do AA/Carplay like some of the other tack on ones. At least then i could stomach the $600 price a little easier.
