How big of a boost would it be to somehow find space (difficult) and money (not as difficult) to put a 50k seat stadium on or right near campus?

Nah, he sucks, trade him to the Dolphins to get Willis back.

You thatted the shit out of that.

In terms of actual value, a proven kicker should be worth like a day 2 pick, at least. In terms of how even great kickers can crumble at any given time or scenario, a day 3 pick at best.

Like, you get drafted with a 7th round pick, there's a bit of pressure but you can handle it. You have 7 very good years just doing what is expected. You get traded for a 1st round pick to go to a SB contender because they want to have (one of) the best kicker in the league. Now you have the weight of a potential SB run on your shoulders and start missing kicks you've never missed before. It could happen to anyone not named Viniatieri.

Pretty sure Cousins was also able to rip harder than that in his prime when here. Arm strength usually gets better until late 20s at some point.

thatissomeBS

You can do both, but it's not always necessary.

Honestly it's just great to know the team was full of fans and some former players. Makes sense why the games were always so good.

NIU is just weird for their conference. I like the MWC for what it is, but don't think of Illinois when I think of mountains or west. At least North Dakota (NDSU) borders a mountain state.

Nike did the same thing when Jordans were new. Shoes had to be like 50% white or black, they made a red shoe for Jordans and paid the fines for him. I guess trying to draw comparisons for your new brand to a company like Jordans/Nike isn't a bad idea.

By winning a Super Bowl with a HoF RB and then nothing without?

thatissomeBS

They did also have a well established play-by-play and color commentator with him.

Jordan Mason is a good back, but Taylor can be elite. I also want to see what Mason can do, but I'm not sure if it's much different than what we've seen him do. If there's a chance for a player like JT, do it.

Not sure if the NBA game, but in 2024 Danny Jansen started a game for the Blue Jays and finished it for the Red Sox. It was rain delayed in the 2nd in June where he was in the lineup for Toronto, he was traded in July, and then the game was completed in August with Jansen playing for Boston.

I will say, since having a bottle brush around I've started using it for probably 95% of my dishwashing. Some things still need a sponge or a cloth to really wipe away specific textures, but the brush makes some very annoying stuff easier (shredders, graters, collanders, mesh strainers, whisks, cutting boards, etc.), and is at least as good for most more normal things.

Yeah, it's almost stupid to pay money now when you can pay the same amount of money later. People act like $1k worth of payments will make them go broke but spending $1k right now won't.

thatissomeBS

That could be the strategy. Profit off a few people willing, and push towards their inevitable goal for this that aren't.

Honestly this seems like the most realistic part of this. They run it for a few days, create anonymous tips about enemies, shut it down, then launch a dozen more bogus witch hunt investigations into Hunter's laptop and Hillary's emails.

thatissomeBS

I guess Natron Means is obscure just based on time? He rushed for 1,350 yards and 12 TDs on a Super Bowl team. But that was 32 years ago, and they lost, so I guess?

thatissomeBS

5-1 and ranked 15 is the kind of mediocrity I can get behind.

thatissomeBS

Bottle brush works best.

I see a lot of people mentioning fiber and protein, and they're right, but they're missing something very important: water. Stay hydrated. Drink a gallon of fluids (calorie free as much as possible). If you're not properly hydrated then there's nothing to help it along. It's just dry shit moving through a dry tube.

She would make conservatives mad.

I will say this, having been just a few pounds away from that range, you can't judge your frame until you're there. I'm 5'9" and got to a low of 163lbs, basically 4lbs away from recommended for a large frame. My whole life I would've guessed large frame if i knew that was an option, but I could very well see having at least t or 10 more pounds to lose. Maybe more, but with some muscle to gain back.

That being said, I may have had t or 10 pounds of loose skin, so might've been closer than I thought otherwise.

Most memory foams are much better pressure relief than just about anything else. There's a reason the whole industry has gone to memory foam, because people like it.

Some people like to group all memory foams together. They are not all built the same. Many different formulas, materials, mix ins, for many different feels and weights. Some last longer, some retain less heat, some are more firm, others are more plush, etc. They don't last forever, just like latex, but they are as good of a tool as any for actual pressure relief. And honestly I kind of disagree with people that think mattresses should be a buy it for life. For better or worse they are a consumable health product. If you can get 7-12 years out of a good mattress you're doing well. Even a relatively expensive one would be down to less than $500/year for a very good experience over that time.

thatissomeBS

Latex is still a foamed product with most of the same properties of any other foam. It's a good support layer, compared to other foams, but not great for pressure relief, in my opinion.
