propaganda really makes us forget the humanity of those on the other side of the fence. If I've learned anything as an immigrant, it's that people aren't too different from one another deep down. Sure, we may worship different gods, sing different songs or salute to different flags, but ultimately we all want a good life with food and roof over our heads surrounded by friends and loved ones

And it's unfortunate as (1) antisemitism (and not antizionism) is wrong, as is any bigotry towards others is wrong and (2) it discourages any potential antizionist israelis/jews from speaking out (hey, if they are going to pile on me anyway why should I care, when they can be an important part of the community).

Reddit mob mentality with zero nuance is definitely something to be studied

Alot of people really should shout or scream less into reddit and do more thinking about what's the best way for humanity

If there's two things I've learned as an immigrant, it's that - People aren't fundamentally different from one another. Sure, we may worship different flags, speak different languages and cheer for different sports teams, but ultimately everyone just wants a good life with friends and roof over their head - People's views aren't shaped by their genetics or their convictions 100%. Our thoughts are shaped by what others around us say, the media we consume, the friends we have. If you grow up in a circle of holocaust deniers, you'll also likely share that view. And those views can change (many anti-zionists today used to be hardcore zionists who would kill any palestinian they see)

I suppose so. Reddit really lacks any nuance. All russians and muslims are evils who must be [redacted] from the face of the earth, never mind that (1) there are russians against this invasion and are absoultely appaled and (2) most muslims do not approve of 9/11

Like, do people ever think how they wanted to be treated if their country started doing war crimes? Would anti-war, anti-genocide Americans (and Canadians through our arms exports) wanted to be piled on like russians today for supporting the genocide in gaza?

thatlightningjack

How would they even enforce this? All one have to do is say "I've looked at <an israeli product> and others but I decided to go with others because of <better value per dollar/quality/support> or so on?" That's free market, isn't it?

Nice

A random poster collector who has no idea what each poster represents?

thatlightningjack

Even Japan? The country that still refuses to acknowledge the full horrors of Nanking?

Still, let us remind ourselves that the Caste System is not a reason to put down India or Indian society. Of course it's not good and we should help Indians rid the Caste System for good

I've seen a number of leftists who put down Indians because of that. It's important to remember Indians didn't choose the caste system. It was a system that existed, and now it's something that has to be abolished for good

And free healthcare

It definitely looks fake. I don't ever recall seeing canadian pr card like that

If you say so, why not go debate Fabien Roussiel, Tomoko Tamura, Claudia de la Cruz or even Xi Jinping?
