So Turek should eek out more liberal positions and that would make him a more effective red state Democrat? Make it make sense.
thebsoftelevision
He was also more normal than this during his 2016 campaign. Him winning despite the polls predicting otherwise kind of broke his brain and made him disregard the mainstream consensus entirely.

Carrick's job is to win us games not prove points to the board lmfao. That's madness. Mount has already proven he's not up to it how many more niggles is it going to take to show he's unreliable? Cunha should have started in his place.
thebsoftelevision
He's way better than Mount.

El Sayed is running against a pretty dogshit candidate while Hinson is one of the strongest Republican recruits this cycle.
thebsoftelevision
You may think this is inauthentic or whatever but Turek is running in Iowa and his internals probably show him trailing on this issue a lot. This is also a Senate election so a lot more partisan than the gubernatorial race so Turek has to put that much more effort into convincing Iowa Republicans to support him and like it or not, this issue matters a lot to them so it makes sense to distance from the highly unpopular Democratic position here.

There's no way you know who riffs how much. You're just making up stuff you have no way of confirming to justify believing what you want to believe. Yes, Punk sat down with Eddie and hashed out what they were going to say, just the same as he did with Hangman. They're just so good at playing their characters that people really believe these are their real life personas which they're not.
thebsoftelevision
No, they were all completely scripted and planned. It's a credit to them maintaining kayfabe so well that you think they actually went off script.
thebsoftelevision
Not really the same at all because all those other segments were completely scripted whereas Hangman's line was improvised. The point is the guys would make it seem like they're going 1 on 1 when in reality they already know what the other guy is gonna say and what their response is going to be. That's what pissed Punk off, it had nothing to do with Hangman's style of promo or whatever.

The most important thing is salvaging at least a draw. The performance has been subpar, we had some chances but we grew out of the game by the end of the half and totally lost control. I don't think we have the defensive solidarity it takes to grind out a result here if we keep playing like this.
thebsoftelevision
He doesn't support M4A. The rest of what you said is either old stuff he's backed off of or the standard Dem plank.
thebsoftelevision
It doesn't work against everyone though. It didn't work against Biden in 2020 but worked against Hillary and Kamala because of their respective personalities.
thebsoftelevision
Maybe. Or maybe he values his political future and is cognizant of the fact that he'd be representing Texas which is THE conservative state. He can carve out a nice political career for himself by voting as a true blue dog if he's smart.

That doesn't make any sense. The reign Rey got was a massive joke. Cena needed to win to put over Punk(which he did but it should have been clean). Rey's reign specifically meant nothing, it's basically a footnote and made Cena look like a jackass in kayfabe which wasn't even the intent of the storyline so it doesn't work on any level.

You always need larger than life stars to keep drawing eyes to the product. An even title scene where almost anyone can beat anyone will turn people off after a while, you need a clear hierarchy about who is better than who to make a compelling product. Of course the stories around these stars need to be compelling as well which is where WWE are missing the mark right now.
thebsoftelevision
Him getting that 5 minute reign was also terrible. The correct booking choice would've been for Cena to have won the tournament instead.

United have been successful with Bruno relative to the quality of the squad we've had during this time. Of course as a club we've failed badly but you can separate that when considering squad quality.
thebsoftelevision
Sure, just like Odegaard, KDB and Silva adapted to those teams. But the fact that the team has been relatively successful with Bruno being given the kind of freedom he's enjoyed proves the point that teams can still be successful with a 10 as long as that 10 fits the sensibilities of the current state of the game.
thebsoftelevision
They don't have to suppress their flair completely, but you have to not be wasteful and have extremely high workrate. Bruno is a good example of a 10 who still works.
thebsoftelevision
If the polls really are right and SC is a genuine sleeper flip nothing this PAC does can save the republicans anyways so it would be way better if they gambled on the polls fucking up badly again and directed resources towards Texas/Maine/Iowa/Ohio.
thebsoftelevision
You wouldn't be fine with a Phil Scott presidency? I know this isn't popular among Dems but I'd be fine with a Rubio/Haley type as president. Hell I'd prefer them to a DSA type Dem who could tarnish the Dem brand forever.
thebsoftelevision
Shapiro is objectively an amazing candidate. Maybe you meant in the sense of the primary and not the general.
thebsoftelevision
And with Moore and Shapiro specifically we have some actually good ones after the deluge of bad candidates like Newsom and Harris.

I do not think all leftist policies are terrible. I'm open to things like healthcare reforms and increased regulations of some sectors on a case by case basis. We enter 2 whole different realities when you're willing to support the extremely terrible viewpoints like defunding the police though. Of course you have to compromise and go the harm reduction route since that's the only viable path for progressives and leftists other than straight up losing. I'm sure if they convinced more people to support their ideas they'd do better electorally but I don't see their current way of talking to folks and promulgating their ideas as being sufficient to be able to accomplish that.
Funny how you skipped over all the problematic things that user mentioned.
