3 out of the 4 of us shot bulls. Nothing huge but I’d say pretty successful for our first DIY OTC hunt in CO. Would recommend all those clothing items I mentioned. Biggest thing is wool doesn’t stink like cotton so you can wear several days in a row. Would also recommend a packable puffy coat and pant for when you stop to glass. Do not rely on your cell phone for your only means of communication/navigation. You lose it or it breaks and you’re essentially lost. Also, never set ur pack down. Even if you think I’m gonna just run up this ridge and I’ll come right back to get it. Next thing you know you’re chasing a herd and you don’t have all your stuff with you. I didn’t do these things but the one guy in our group did.

Thanks for asking! The are rigid rope protectors for mobile fall arrest devices. Recommended specifically by Petzl. As seen below

It’s also funny you mention the different learning styles because we just made a post about that! Follow us on IG @loadpathlabs or FB LoadPath Labs

Thanks! We think you’ll be even more impressed when you see some in person

Thanks for the order and feedback! The ID is on our list to get added to the product line. Among many other ideas. Keep an eye out for all the cool stuff coming

We couldn’t agree more!

If I was choosing between those two, I’d choose Affton. Not sure how far out from the city you’re open to being but I’d also consider northern Jefferson County

Certainly if that’s your prerogative. We use these as tools in the toolbox. Sometimes you don’t have all the hardware at your disposal at the moment, don’t have the space, don’t have the time and quickly want to talk through a scenario, etc.

Thanks for the feedback. I just updated my site with the sizes at the bottom of description. I like the ideas of load, anchor, etc. They are on my list. Ow. Thank you! Let me know if you have any other questions. I love talking this topic

Also, shoot me a message and I should be able to get you whatever size you need.

Not dumb at all my friend! You’re here asking questions and learning. That’s what we are all about.
The red tubes are ASAP or Fall arrest device spacers to be used in reeving or drop loop systems. They prevent the asaps and pulleys from banging against each other and causing damage and they crest space/distance between the asap and pulley so if there is a rope failure, there is more rope there for the asap to grab.
Petzl recommends them matter of fact. Here’s the source: https://m.petzl.com/US/en/Professional/Rescue--backing-up-a-drop-loop-haul-or-reeve-with-the-ASAP-LOCK

We have a lot more things coming. Finalizing the wingman and it’ll be released. Currently a one man operation so I’m moving as fast as I can. There has been a great response so my printers are running around the clock. If you have ideas of what you want I’m all ears

Wires matched up. They literally all have to go the same direction

The absolute easiest way to drain it without making a mess and doing it quickly is hooking the drain hose to a wet/dry vac. Not a drop gets spilled

This brown can be seen around the entire windshield

I don’t want to accept it though. Looks like shit and I’m kind of particular. Is this enough to tell them to do it over

Not a tool but a charged hose line…

I cut and spliced my lights in two locations s. Thought I screwed something up because after the splice the lights passed it wouldn’t work. Replaced, wiggled wires, nothing.
I learned two things after troubleshooting.
1) you have to be cognizant of which way the strands are running, and make sure they continue in that direction. Example: In my case, I cut the female end off and spliced in a male connector. Didn’t realize it and kept installing. Figured it out when they wouldn’t work past the splice.
2) If you do make a mistake, find the issue, and fix it without unplugging (yes the directions say to unplug) the lights still won’t work past the splice until you unplug and the lights “reset”
